Pete Best being presented with this one of a kind custom made snare drum at the Liverpool Beatles Museum- Mathew Street. It’s called “The Pete Best.” The snare drum was made and presented to Pete by Simon Wagstaff of the Vintage Drum Company.

For day 16 we’re celebrating the 16 minute Abbey Road Medley!
A lot of fans favourite part of the album is side 2, where the Beatles turned a number of short song fragments into a 16 minute long iconic rock medley.

Photographer Iain McMillan took photos of the boys crossing the road outside what was then known as EMI Studios, with Paul choosing the iconic album artwork from the 6 shots 🌟
The Beatles in Paris, January 1964 🌫️🇫🇷
On this day the Beatles recorded German language versions of 'She Loves You', 'I Want to Hold your Hand' and 'Cant Buy Me Love' at the Pathe Marconi Studios in Paris. This was the only time the Beatles recorded outside of the UK 🌟
