Day 77 of 77 of continuous work and travel without a break. After an early morning call in and then a rush to get packed, I am done. 5 hospitals, 3 states, and many nights of broken sleep. I am heading home for a week of sleep!

Day 72 of 77 on the road for work: three hour drive to Adelaide and three flights with tight connections to end up in Gladstone, Queensland for the week. Hopefully my bags will arrive at the same time. I am looking forward to being home in Sydney on Saturday. Been too long away.

The power of location based dating apps are not in finding partners, but catching up socially with interesting people that you didn't know are nearby. Hence Andrew and I have coffee and cake at a small bakery in Surry Hills, as he is on holidays here in Sydney!

Leaving Tasmania again for work in Berri SA but it was an amazing camping weekend organised by Nick Stacey at his place in Bicheno, Tasmania. Great people and a lovely place. If you weren't there, Nick is thinking of this annually, so make sure you are there next year!

Details from a phone conversation with @QANTAS today, around yet more delayed baggage: * Baggage services no longer answers, baggage calls are now taken by reservations, who give no further information other than the website. * the median lost baggage delay is now over 72 hours.

* Customer care for delayed baggage is only available by the @QANTAS website, but there is a minimum staff available so you should not expect a response from that any time soon. * The only solutions offered for customers is to wait and no one takes ownership of the problem

Essentially when it comes to delayed bags, @QANTAS says you are on your own. You cannot communicate with anyone that has more information, you remain in the dark. The airline is not being transparent about this at all. It is not treating customers with respect around this.
