I was in a workshop with @bmoesta and he shared this slide about the four forces. He said once you learn about them, you’ll see them everywhere and in every decision. He was right - I think about them constantly, from personal decisions to product behaviors to elections.

In 2005, I emailed Jason about 37express. You could hire them to redesign 1 webpage in 1 week. I was too late. They were focusing on this new thing called Basecamp. I used it at every job over the next 15 years, and now, I'm fortunate to work on the product itself. Congrats!
