An update on what is going on. To be clear, the cause of this ongoing downtime is not related to any malicious attack or take down notice. For some reason the server for baraag entered into read-only mode yesterday, perhaps due to an inconsistency with the filesystem itself.

The server for baraag runs on 2x 960GB SSD hard drives in RAID configuration to mirror each other. Yesterday, one of those drives started to fail, causing the server to enter into read-only mode. The solution was to replace the faulty drive with a new SSD.
