Abby’s heart cath went great today!!We got some really great news!! Abby no longer has any pulmonary hypertension. They were happy with all her pressures. Her surgical corrections looked great. It appears her body has adjusted very well!! Thank you all for the love and support!

Hi Everyone!! Just wanted to let everyone know that we experienced a huge scare in our family this past Wednesday. Abby collapsed and went into cardiac arrest. Michael was home at the time and performed CPR on Abby and was able to restore a heartbeat. He saved her life!!

Abby has been released from the hospital! We are headed home! After a week of careful monitoring and recovery, doctors feel confident that Abby’s ablation procedure was successful and no defibrillator needed at this time. She has recovered remarkably!!

Abby is out from her procedure. She is recovering and doing awesome!! It took a long time but they believe they fixed some arrhythmias that they found. She will be monitored for the next couple of days to see if any future procedures need to take place. Rocking it!

Day 5...BIG DAY!! Off the ventilator and breathing on her own! Highly uncomfortable but that’s expected. Moving and talking, just very groggy and sleepy. Check out the update.

Abby has been moved out of the Cardiac ICU to the step-down unit! She will be monitored the next couple of days and a decision will be made on if she needs another surgery to install a defibrillator (ICD). Abby is doing great. She has been walking around, eating and exfoliating.
