@Resist_05 Indeed. The first Nakba was the Palestinians expecting their increasing terror campaign from 1929-47 to galvanize a pan-Arab action to destroy Israel. It failed - not just a setback (naksa) but a catastrophe (Nakba). It seems they did not learn from history.

@aziz0nomics That’s simply false. The idea of Palestinian nationalism was decades (if not centuries) later than the proposal to re-establish Israel. And it was largely in response to it. Pan Arabists didn’t really want the land, they just didn’t want Jews to have any autonomy, anywhere.
