@Osinttechnical one of the biggest misunderstandings about APFSDS is the amount of explosive force it creates when it strikes something. Depending on what it hits the APFSDS can result in a *bigger* explosion and/or debris cloud. That "tail" behind the hit suggests it's either HEAT or APFSDS.
