I was not allowed to do ANY CARTOONING in my American art school unless I showed evidence my art style was not inspired by Japanese artists. Same for my non-Japanese Asian American classmates. Anyone who knows the history of cartooning should know how fucked that is.

Friendly reminder if you’re getting into Ojamajo Doremi for the first time that because the series is from the 2000s, the fan subs include the r word, but Doremi would never use that
