Btw this is what caused probably the majority of phob 1.0s (not 2.0s) to break and likely what happened to jmook. Not 100% that’s what happened there, but regardless this knowledge needs to be spread. I didn’t know about this issue for a while and it kept screwing me.

Even decently made solder joints on PhobGCC 1.2 can fail over time if they were made with leaded solder, which is soft and smushes under pressure. If your Phob 1.2 stick outputs hard left or hard right, get someone to resolder the Halls with SAC305 solder which is harder.

The main point of phobs is they don't use physical potentiometers to read stick inputs. These pots need frequent replacement = spending $. Phobs use a magnetic field to read stick inputs = last forever cuz no physical degradation. There is a lot more to it but that's the gist.
