Hard to estimate the size of the crowd but it’s definitely hundreds of people, stretching more than a city block. The crowd just passed the Wake County Justice Center and is chanting “the people united, will never be defeated.”

New: The downtown Raleigh hit and run State Auditor Beth Wood was charged in last month involved her state assigned vehicle, a 2021 Toyota, according to a police report. Wood later reported that "I made a sharp sudden turn and struck a parked vehicle."
