My therapist told me I should mix with more non-autistic people to get out being too used to talking to autistic people 🙃🙃🙃🙃 I don't know what this means but it's like telling a neurotypical person to mix with less neurotypical people to be less neurotypical

People underestimate how difficult it is to get a job as a disabled person. As a disabled person, it wouldn't be possible for me to know in advance days that I would need time off and because of that employers are reluctant to hire and I know a lot of disabled people are in that

A disabled person using a wheelchair isn't the same as a non disabled person using one, especially when you're used to not being disabled and being able to walk around completely fine, of course the wheelchair wouldn't be helpful for you.

I'm going to be autistic, regardless of who I mix with, and why would i not want to mix with like minded people, isnt that what everyone does? Including neurotypical people? Talk to who they connect with and relate to and can talk easier with?

Being a woman and being disabled is actually quite terrifying when you hear these stories of things happening to women, its terrifying for any woman to hear but being disabled on top of that means you have to be extra careful and extra scared🙃
