Lake City defeated LARP in the opening round of Section 1AA team competition 46-21. Then followed that up beating

ranked team in the state Kasson-Mantorville by the score of 40-32. The Tigers will now advance to the finals on Saturday vs Simley.

Lake City Senior Blake Fredrick signed his “Senior Night Game Contract” this morning. Blake is normally on the JV team but, due to his being a great teammate and his daily Attitude and Effort, has been promoted to Varsity for Sr Night tomorrow night! We’re proud of you Blake!!
Lake City Senior Aidan Creeley shattered a 60 year old school record in the Shot Put today with a throw of 56’10.5” breaking Wayne Steffenhagen’s previous record of 52’11” that he set in 1959. Wow...that’s a big deal!!

To recognize the class of 2020, we will be turning on our stadium lights at 8:20pm each Monday night in May for 20 minutes. To kick it off tonight, Mr. Berge and Mr. Vaith will take part in the Principal/AD challenge and run 20, 20 yard sprints...👍

Congratulations to Braxton Berlin, who finished 5th as in individual at the Section 1AA meet and earned a trip to State. Unfortunately, he had to beat his teammate, Noah Wallerich, in a one hole playoff to earn the spot.
