We are pleased to share our most recent Ofsted report with our families today via email. This report will be published on the Ofsted website next week.
Cottenham Village College is now graded as a good school in all areas.
Extremely proud that Longsands Academy is currently home to 200 volunteers who are sewing scrubs from donations made by the public, as part of the 'Love Your Scrubs' initiative
Investing in our people is a top priority. In addition to paying 1% above national rates for teaching staff, this year we have awarded support staff increases of £1,925 or 6.5%, whichever is higher...
This was our schools' tenth ‘Good’ outcome over the last fourteen months and the eighth to be judged ‘Good’ for the first time.
Ofsted headlines aren't our only measure of success, but the reports give an important insight into the improvements underway across the Trust.
"An aspirational and inclusive school where pupils enjoy learning."
It's good to see this highlighted in coverage of
@CottenhamVC
's recent Ofsted report.
A warm welcome to students and staff starting and returning to school today. We hope you enjoyed the summer and are looking forward to the term ahead

Our expectations keep students safe and reduce disruption.
At Woodfields, this is one reason why attendance is up, sanctions and disruption to learning incidents are down and why Ofsted has recognised the improvements being made since the graded inspection in January. 3/4
Yet again, the sensational Dr Nic Crossley is flying the flag for SEN and passionately raising awareness in the sector. Read about Nic’s crucial roles here:

Astrea’s very own Nicole Brown from Lower Meadow Primary Academy sharing her school’s successes in developing emotional language and regulated responses at whole school level - a brilliant session!
Sir David Carter, the national schools commissioner, commended the work of multi-academy trusts in improving social mobility, saying academies had “historic success” in turning around schools in some of the most deprived areas of the country.
We are in an exciting period of growth and development. To support our ambitions, we are seeking to recruit for a number of experienced Education professionals to join the Astrea Academy Trust family

We welcome parent feedback and want to work to address any concerns. Parents should follow the school's complaints policy.
