just read Mark Lawrence's Prince Of Thorns, the single most violent fantasy novel ever. Not so much an anti-hero here as an outright serial killing psychopath. Basically Aragorn replaced by Norman Bates - intense grimdark, fun, but not for the faint hearted

Amazingly it is exactly a year today that I had my first and main life saving operation to get the cancer out of my bowels. The second (patching up) op followed four days later. Without the surgery on this day 365 days ago, I'd not be writing this. Yay to the NHS!

Third anniversary of my first bowel cancer beating surgery procedure - had to have a follow up four days later, on 6th December, to patch the splitting remaining large intestine section which left me with a stoma for life but this one was the one that really saved my life.

Got a poem accepted by a US publisher, the first of my poems to deal with stoma wearing. It goes down well in my recent live performances too. With a pub signs book due in 24, and a story accepted for a horror book in Autumn, looking like a good year for my scribbles now.
