Arriva Bus Services to resume in North Wales and Chester from tomorrow
Arriva can confirm that buses will resume in North Wales and Chester from tomorrow morning. The announcement comes following further talks with, Unite this week which led to a suspension of the strike.
A fleet of 12 new buses were launched at Bangor depot after Arriva invested £2.2m into our fleet and Welsh network. 🚌
The new fleet consisting of 12 single deck buses will run between Caernarfon, Bangor and Llandudno starting this month. 👏😍
🚍 URGENT SERVICE UPDATE

ℹ️ Due to a major outbreak of covid-19 in the Holyhead area, all Arriva services between Bangor and Holyhead (including college buses) will run between Bangor and Llangefni only until further notice, following advice by Ynys Mon council.
From 31st January Arriva will take back running our journeys on the

Arriva Buses Wales expresses its disappointment as it confirms that its drivers still intend to strike from 06:00 on Sunday 14th November 2021 despite on-going discussions.

Due to worsening weather conditions and continued road closures, all Arriva services in Chester and Flintshire have been suspended until further notice, with the exception of Service 11 which is operating a diverted limited service. ⛔🚍
Face coverings must be worn on board our buses. Failure to do so could see you fined or prosecuted. As our drivers sit behind screens, they do not need to wear a face covering. We offer journey assistance cards for customers who are exempt:

From 03/12 until 31/12 Monday to Saturday evenings (after 7pm) and all day Sunday, single fares on Arriva bus services in the Wrexham local authority area will be no more than £1 per journey.

Due to severe weather the road between Abergele and llanddulas has flooded. Subsequently the 12 service will divert via the A55 missing out Llanddulas. Tesco in Abergele will still be served in both directions. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Due to a fallen tree at Llanfair DC (near Ruthin) service X51 is terminating at Ruthin on 21st February, we are currently unable to operate between Ruthin and Wrexham.
