I went to a local gay/lesbian club when I was 22. Someone decided to bring their cishet boyfriend into this club. When a woman started flirting with his girlfriend, he pushed her to the ground and started cussing her out. He tried to escalate into more violence.

it's okay to be upset, and it's your choice if you want save up/invest into a game like this, but do not go broke over anime characters. If your money spending habits aren't good do not play gacha games, or at least have someone help you take accountability if you do play them.

"No ethical consumption" means you shouldn't feel guilty about what you *can't* control. Like for example Disney is a giant media conglomerate. we already know that so many people employed within Disney are actively TRYING to change things because Disney dominates the media

I just retweeted it, but one of the writers for Hades confirmed that Thanatos & Zagreus grew up knowing that they weren't related and that they will be patching/removing bits of story & dialogue that people cite as indication of them (as well as Megara) being "foster siblings"

As a victim of grooming/abuse, I know *firsthand* that most victims aren’t aware of the situation they’re in until they’re out of it. I can tell you right now that the most inappropriate thing to do is talk down to & be condescending towards someone you believe to be a victim.

1.) if you're uncomfortable w greek mythology & any source material that's based off of it, that's fine. a lot of greek mythos is gross. 2.) ppl who play the hades game aren't automatically gross freaks bc the game recontextualizes the myths, like percy jackson & lore olympus

Polyamory =/= Open Relationship. They are two different things. Polyamory actually requires MORE transparency, honesty, communication and respecting of boundaries that you and your partner set up. A key part of polyamory is *CONSENT* and I wish people understood what that meant.

I think the best example of this is like. When I was young I really loved the movie Pocahontas. But when I learned Disney took the trauma of a REAL historical figure, aged up said historical figure and threw her in a romance with a colonizer? Nope. Not gonna watch that anymore.

Disney owns Hulu which has a lot of LGBT content on it for example. People watch Owl House to support the LGBT creator! but Wizard Franchise is its own thing. It is one piece of media inside a media conglomerate you can do without, you can CHOOSE not to like it, I promise.
