We have disabled access to Fortnite, as Epic removed IPA files from their servers. If they want to distribute Fortnite outside of Apple app store (and its subsidiaries) globally (even in US), feel free to contact us:) Like to share this and let them know!
Honestly, we do not understand people who are using altstore for $3/mo, it is $36 per year, and you still need PC/Mac and headache with configuration of this stuff. appdb PRO has same features, no PC/Mac, better compatibility and push, it's cheaper. Think about it:)
While all other signing services are being revoked, appdb is OK. That's why community and spirit of freedom matters. We don't have much followers, and we don't try to, just real people with the same great idea!
Fortnite
@FortniteGame
is unofficially available on appdb and works in US and in the world (we have contacted
@TimSweeneyEpic
regarding official publication). (you may need to reconfigure your app installation method)
You don't need to do anything (e.g. revoke certificates or change passwords), data is safe. Signing and dev credential parts of appdb was not hacked. Appdb does not have passwords by design. R/sideloaded moderators are lying to you, please read:
....while someone is giving away iPhone X from money they've earned on ads and personal data collection, we glad to announce that our Staff Support program helped crackers around the world - almost $4K were spent on iTunes Gift cards for them!
appdb iOS app is unofficial client that maintained by 3rd party. Please ask it's developer to update app to use our updated APIs. We are not responsible for its functionality, please use appdb website instead
Update: Apple has tracked down and terminated account of appdb servicing company, that was never used anywhere outside an AppStore, had published apps and never violated anything. Such blatant actions by Apple - limitation of competition in such way are against the law.
@mysk_co
Because Apple requires every developer to sign a developer agreement, wants fees and places other requirements. This is illegal. Independent distribution - this is a key to an open and fair market. Meanwhile, developers can use appdb for this, as we work independently from Apple
Due to lots of revokes we have run out of developer accounts and won't be able to re-activate PROs unless community will support us again via developer account reseller program. This is happening - Apple is killing appdb right now.
For all signing services that are suffering from revocations - appdb provides secure way to deploy your apps with hiding of actual signed IPA location, information about signing certificate (because we use secure Apple APIs), we can help, our APIs are free to use, DM for info!
Appdb is community driven project. If someone will publish uncover in appdb - we all will have it. If not, yo can use MyAppStore to upload IPA and install it to your devices.
This will not stop appdb from being an alternative App Store. Soon we will release official publishing of apps, Apple APIs replacements and be fully functional competitor of Apple in this area. Users will have real freedom of choice.
apple is always making it harder. issues are fixed again, we hope it will work till Monday, when our whole tech team will be here and will investigate these brand new sticks in our wheels.
WHAT IF you can receive one year of PRO for FREE, but required to install and open random free app from AppStore every week? Will it be very cool for you?
Another limitation from apple - looks like they started to limit device registrations entirely - now some devices can't be added as development devices if they were added previously to another accounts. It may be the end.
We have tried to contact TrollStore developer on X, however they didn't reply. So, no new year gift for everyone:( If someone from TrollStore development team can contact us for integration of TrollStore and appdb, please do it
We are really sorry for issues during this Christmas and New Year holidays. Release of Rickpactor, revocation and fact that most people are on vacation, caused huge load and multiple errors on appdb. We will work hard in January to make it stable!
We have changed behavior of app installation, now appdb will warn you that PRO was revoked and offer you to re-activate it and will show you instructions.
If you got your device banned by Apple from usage of free certificate (internet connection is required error), switch to your own developer account or wait for new publicly available certificate. You can also reset your device and restore backup.
Apple has revoked 1400 PROs and we are doing our best to re-register everyone ASAP, plus we are investigating how Apple was able to bypass protection which is worked flawlessly until now
Apple has revoked free installations again. Most appdb users and their families/friends are enjoying revocation-free experience with their own developer accounts purchased from Apple:
Apple is continuing to fight against sideloading. Today they started to block emails from appdb with "local policy" error. Okay, we introducing our own local policy to disallow icloud emails. Existing icloud emails can be changed soon. Apple, in March 2024 we will win in any case
As always, we do not recommend to update to beta iOS versions and providing no support for appdb if you are using beta software. Let us test it firstly (or test at the same time with us:))
