Harm reduction. I’ve had multiple patients asking how to wean off their morphine, lexapro, benzos and even ADHD meds and using cannabis instead to treat their issues. I’m all for it. Cannabis makes these patients more self aware of their own bodies. Side effects of cannabis

Truest thing I’ve ever seen on any social media. I know. I used to be addicted to adderall, Xanax, soma, klonopin, and alcohol. I’ve tried every single narcotic in the pharmacy, big pharma can’t make a medicine as beneficial and without harsh side effects like Cannabis provides.

@stonersvilla Yes! You’ll know you need a break when the effects aren’t there anymore. I recommend a 3 day T break at the minimum, 2 week break for majority of receptors to return to normal, 4 weeks is optimal (it’ll feel like your first time all over again. 🤓

@RyanMarino Use does not mean abuse. Cannabis use will likely increase in the aging populations. The anti-inflammatory nature of cannabis can be very beneficial to people with arthritis. Have them use tinctures or capsules to have a tighter control on the dosing to mitigate side effects.

@RyanMarino Fentanyl simply is a drug that has a narrow therapeutic index, where a safe and therapeutic dose and it’s toxic dose are measured in micrograms. Fentanyl is useful and safe in many situations, especially if a patient is tolerate of opioids.

I see a future of medicine where THC and CBD is incorporated into normal medications. 💊 5mg hydrocodone with 5mg THC tablets would likely be more beneficial for pain relief and much less harmful on the liver than Tylenol in current Vicodin tablets.

Addiction can be seen with some over the counter drugs as well. For example: Using Afrin longer than 3 days can cause rebound congestion which can cause people to use Afrin more frequently, which will extend or worsen the congestion causing them to use more Afrin… 🤧Rebound

It kills me to see this. Only buy your products from a licensed dispensary. THC hasn’t taken a life, but street market dealers contaminating their own drugs with fentanyl doesn’t make much sense to me. Products like these can be bought easily online and you simple cannot know

It’s always upsetting seeing people lose their jobs or family’s wellbeing over THC especially if it was from CBD and they weren’t impaired on the job. Just because a drug stays in your system doesn’t mean it’s effects are noticeable. #cannabis #law #cbd

Give this a listen if you take antidepressants or considering them for your child or loved one. Black box warnings should be explained when starting a medication, most of the time they are not. Black box warning for most antidepressants include increased risk of suicide.

Since c @nnabis has been medicinal in many states for many years, they have the ability to harvest the medical data of those patients over time and get a diverse and robust post-how analysis of how it is actually affecting people. I want to see more studies done!
