Just happened. A Minister’s vehicle knocked mine while I was stationary in traffic, in my lane (see last photo). They didn’t stop to apologize or offer to repair my car. The military on the escort vehicle banged my car and shouted insults as they passed. How do I seek justice?

Last night I had dinner with a Ugandan doctor who works in the USA. He told me that out of his graduating class of 60 from Makerere, 14 of them are all working in the USA, about 6 are in the UK, and a few in South Africa, Sudan, Rwanda,

If I like it, I will give you Ugx. 1,000,000/= at zero interest. I will select 3 to 5 ventures.

story: I just spoke with a young man who grew up on Kampala’s streets. At age 7 he became a street child. He begged people in matatus for months until he saved up just enough to buy a weighing scale so strangers could pay him to measure their weight.
Today, our travel company
@RooseveltSafari
(please give us a follow) supported Uganda tourism with 39 gorilla permits. We took over two lodges in the area. $150k spent in the Ugandan economy. Our tourism potential is great. We haven’t scratched the surface, really.
Signs of a great trip ahead! Bumped into one of my besties at an airport in Europe.

Have you tried this chocolate by Ugandan entrepreneur
@BlakSolomon
? I have to say the Mulondo flavored tastes quite good. Talk of value addition, this is it right here.
We will have a party here (roast, drinks, games) in July to celebrate this beautiful thing that God is helping us to build. We have limited tickets. Details to come.

Best thing to serve everyone would be if you filed and funded a class action lawsuit and a lot of us can join. You and your lawyers can decide to rake 30%…we could enjoin mtn and maybe UCC. A lot of us feel cheated.
Yes, this is in the Nansana! So proud of the work our excellent medical team at Sebbi Hospital is doing in Kampala, Uganda. 5 babies 👶 👶 👶 👶 👶 delivered on Sunday night only 💪💪💪. Hallelujah 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

My childhood friend, Roy took me to brunch this morning at Fontis in Nakasero. Roy is a highly influential architect with a lot of projects completed. If you have seen Fontis, that’s Roy’s work. Definitely worth a visit.
That’s me galavanting in the cybertruck for the first time. It belongs to my friend
@DocBorelli
who is an incredible doctor, investor and entrepreneur. He will be helping me massively as I try to bring MRI to Uganda, God willing.
Literally, from the brutal streets of Kampala to Wall Street. Now he has dreams to create a million jobs some day. You wonder how much of our country’s talent is stuck because life has dealt them a real bad hand. Talent is universal, but opportunity is not. Always remember that.
Are you 30 years and below? Pitch us your business to access a loan of up to 5m/= from the Hiinga Capital Youth Venture Fund. We are in partnership with Glory Mentors to provide capacity building for up to 20 entrepreneurs. We will co-fund a few ventures with Shona
To elevate Uganda’s tourism game, we need a massive surge of private investments in the high end / ultra luxury category. This is a lodge opening in Kenya... I dream for
@RooseveltSafari
to build 5 of these in Uganda in future. Which Ugandan investors should we tap for capital?
Cultivating relationships:
I brought Jerry, an othorpedic surgeon to Uganda with me 10 years ago. Today, he got his former practice to give us state of the art surgical equipment that will be en-route to Uganda soon. I can’t even describe the joy I have.
Slow but steady progress at our hospital project near Kasangati, Gayaza Road. A few setbacks, but nothing insurmountable; glory to The Lord! Frame 2: we make our own cinder blocks for cost and quality control.
Visited my friend’s amazing resort in a desert in Abu Dhabi — Pura Eco Resort. Pitched luxury tourism opportunity and possible collaboration in Uganda and Rwanda. Visit here makes me scratch my head how these folks have transformed their nation overnight. UG, let’s wake up!!!
I am going through the pitches and all I am seeing is great stuff. Uganda is gifted with so many entrepreneurs. Selected ventures will be funded by end of this week. If your venture is not selected, it is not because it is not worthy. I would fund everything if I was "Sudhir."
This is the innovator changing the face of Uganda’s healthcare delivery from the city to the last mile.
@Davisthedoc

team congrats on all that you do. For me, you are definitely company and person of the year.
Great people of Gayaza, Kyanja, Magere, Masooli, Kawempe, Mpererwe, Komamboga, Kitetika, Kasangati, Seeta, Ku-Mbuzi, Wampewo, Lutete, even Kira, Buwate, Kampala…

Slow and steady wins the race.” We are making slow but noticeable progress on the Gayaza Rd hospital project and it requires every ounce of our faith! We are about to run out of cash after sinking lots in the foundation, but we are expectant of God’s provision and providence.
Slow and steady wins the race. Soon we will start on level 3 of this “hospitality” building. And next month we will have a Thanksgiving roast. God is good! This will be a place for both physical and spiritual healing.
We have been collaborating with the folks at Kampala architectural design studio

Congratulations Jonani, our lead lab scientist at Ssebi Hospital who has today graduated with a Masters Degree in Immunology and Clinical Microbiology from Makerere University. So proud of your hard work Jonani!

I was shocked to learn that with our unmatched agric potential, Uganda imports 70% of cooking oil consumed here. That’s why I am excited by an entrepreneur we are working with, who’s about to tap this big opportunity. In 2017, the cooking oil import bill was ugx 110 billion.

We have achieved a lot of our Gayaza Road hospital construction objectives this year. We are slightly behind schedule (for various reasons) but I am truly appreciative for what everyone involved has done to bring this dream closer to reality each day. God is good!

Any young female entrepreneurs here (Uganda)? We’re gearing up for one final funding call before the end of December. Are you ready to seize this opportunity?
Just had an inspiring visit with our client Biogenics, a Ugandan owned company that makes 3,500,000 masks each month (medical, n95 and those common blue ones), employs 50 people — mostly young adult women, and is developing some exciting new product lines.
