Anyone who has never made a mistake, has never tried anything new. I work in IT, and an I'm an Army Reserve Officer. All views are my own, and no one else's.
Today I watched
@StJohnstone
win. And I left smiling...
First time I've been on my own, as I sat in Dad's seat. Was weird, and a little lonely even though I was surrounded by people.
Would he be smiling after today?? Most definitely...

My thoughts are with those in my Coy who knew him & called him their friend. His picture remains a focal point with in Stirling, and we remember him with pride.

@The_SCOTS
Pte Hetherington, a member of the Pl I have the privilege to now lead.
My team misses him, but they've never forgotten him, and they celebrate him every year.
Corporal William Savage,
Private Robert Hetherington and
Fusilier Samuel Flint’s repatriations 😢💔
Thank you for your service William, Robert and Samuel ❤️
Lest we forget 🇬🇧

In this, the final home match of the season we take the opportunity to remember supporters and former players who have passed away during the last year
As read by David Barrie, club chaplain.

Working our core skills today. Nav, one of the hardest skills to master well, but the first to be affected by skill fade. So perfect conditions for some great team development
@7SCOTS
#MightyDCoy
I know everyone's experiences differ but today I feel very lucky, and it started with the dreaded call when away.
@7SCOTS
had me on a plane home within 12hrs, and thanks to the speed and skill of
@Scotambservice
I would not have got to see my dad yesterday. Thank you all
Another fun and creative weekend at BBTC. The RQ said no one had indented for sunshine. Still ended up a wee bit burnt.
Training finished with a nice surprise too. 👍
#onwardsandupwards
Another milestone today as a Comd.
My first 2 promotions in my Pl. Mega proud of the guys, they've worked so hard and they deserve all the handshakes they get.
@7SCOTS
Clearing out some boxes I find this in a bag. It has been nearly 20 years, but i still have them. Safely packed away. My youngest is keeping my TOS safe which is nice

@BWACF
And
@keep__attacking
just keep on delivering. Loving the new kit Colour
@BrianWoodMC
Your team got it out fast as well.
But the best part, the personal note of thanks for the order. Got to love a company that is so humble 👍
It was great to spend some time with the
@3_SCOTS
officers on Sunday. It was an honour to March beside you. I look forward to the opportunities to learn from as we move forward.
@7SCOTS
@hrfca
Less than 3 months after standing in front of
@MarkLancasterMK
at
@RMASandhurst
, I get the honour of carrying the Regimental Colour of 2/51 Highland Volunteers, to be laid up.
Oh the fun of being a reservist...
Today's Remembrance in Stirling was simple but respectful. It was a privilege to represent my Battalion and Regiment.
Next year, hopefully, the rest my unit will be able to be present.
#RemembranceSunday
Looking forward to taking command of the Platoon in Stirling

@7SCOTS
It'll be great to build good supportive relationships with my new neighbours,

My latest
@keep__attacking
addition and delivered mega fast.
Thank you
@BrianWoodMC
and your boss for such a speedy response.
Now time to exercise a bit of self control. Ha ha...
Great to watch the
@RAPTC_Official
pass off today. Sad to lose LCpl S from my
@7SCOTS
Pl, but so proud of now Sgt S sticking to it and achieving his goals. Reservists, we can achieve anything we put our minds to.

Yep I'm in clip again, but the miles are stacking up and USMCM2020 will soon be here.
But at least I look good this time in my
@keep__attacking
top.
Credit goes to
@charli_chops
for the recommendation.
Cheers Colour
@BrianWoodMC
After supporting the
@The_SCOTS
benevolent fund Summer Ball back in June, I finally found out how much we raised. To say I'm feeling proud and smug is an understatement.

I've learnt a few things today...
1. My mental health and general outlook improves when I see my kids.
2. My beard is apparently looking good, but I look old.
3. I'm useless on a flicker because I don't wiggle my arse enough. So my kids tell me. 😳

Nice walk around BB Training Area this morning in prep for the end of the month.
Even got a chance to see
@atu_scotland
doing their thing with a new batch of recruits... at distance.
Todays run was a little longer than planned. But a nice 11 miles under the belt. Got to be ready when the
@7SCOTS
team heads to USMCM2020.
Handy when you are comfy in
@keep__attacking
gear. Ha ha
It was great to visit
@ArmyCadetsScot
#Dunblane
det.
@CSMACoyASH
was a great host, with a very flexible and highly motivated grp of cadets. Really great to see. Keep up the good work.
My eldest is currently practicing his sewing by making a friendship blanket for one of his beavers badges.
I've donated my TRFs because of the friendship and family I've found in
@7SCOTS
and the
@BritishArmy
#reserve
Being cheeky, would anyone else like to donate a badge??
Whoever thought doing an 8 mile run followed by a 30 min crossfit circuit was a good idea, is a complete idiot.
In other news, I'm a complete idiot... 🥵
Today's lessons learnt:
1. Rain is the best enforcer of social distancing. 🌦
2. Once you've been to
@IBSBrecon
, this isn't rain. You've lived and worked in worse.🌧
3. You can sing in public and no one will see or hear you. 🤣🤙
