I talked to the publishers and we arranged a date so mine, theirs and bookshop preorders will go out first before it hits the shelves. It just isn't fair otherwise. Was annoyed when people were tweeting a book they'd bought and I'd preordered months ago and was still waiting.
Have you noticed the light is slowly starting to return? Just a few minutes, but it is returning.
Back in the Shed and thought the best way to start the year was to make a little Lightbringer Mouse to carry the light to Spring.
#thelightbringers
I went to the woods today to collect some birch bark from a fallen tree and I found a little badger admiring g the view on their way home with some flowers for mum.
Bert here! Donโt let a nice sunny day trick you into planting yer seeds too early. Wait a bit longer, that sun ainโt got in the soil yet... have a biscuit and a cuppa instead.
*Happy Birthday to Celestine and the Hare*
10 years ago, I set up an etsy shop Facebook page while still teaching and then in 2016, when I had my first 6 books published and was signed off as cancer free, I made the jump to doing this full time! Thank you for the support!
The news is all a bit much at the moment, so just in case you need it, here is a little sewing mouse coming home for the night.

I'm so sorry to see Jack Monroe leaving twitter after so much abuse. I just don't get why people have to be so utterly vile to someone trying to help us all out.
