Jeremy Corbyn speaking out against animal testing at the World Day for Laboratory Animals demonstration - Trafalgar Square, London, 1984. โค๏ธ

Even if you think her tweet was racist (it wasn't) you really need to read up on the history of racism if you think that was the 'ugliest form' of racism.
Andrew Lloyd Webber, who once flew first-class from New York to London to vote for cuts to welfare benefits, is on the tellybox talking about selfishness.
@GaryLineker
@bbclaurak
You launched anti-troll campaign the other day and you're now supporting someone who launched a Twitter pile-on against a man with a sick child? Nice.
I met Jeremy many times when I was campaigning for the Guildford Four, Birmingham Six and Winston Silcott. When nearly all other politicians ignored us, he was always there for us. A true anti-racist and a lovely man.
I was Dennis Bergkamp's co-writer on his website for two years. We spoke most days and met a couple of times a month. I can't put into words how utterly, utterly unruffled he was by professional trolls like Adrian Durham. He could barely muster a shrug.
@GaryLineker
@bbclaurak
It's very admirable of you to defend a colleague but I can't agree, Gary. Reporting things is her job, but sharing someone vulnerable's account with a "HERE HE IS" attached is what bullies do.
I met
@jeremycorbyn
several times in the late 80s and early 90s, when I campaigned for the Guildford Four and other cases. I recognise every word of this. Forget the sneaky slurs, this is the real Corbyn.
@NadineDorries
Itโs obviously the C4 aspect that really bothers you. You never really understood how C4 even works, so donโt be too surprised your idea has been scrapped.
And that's when the begging starts. They'll come to me and say: 'Ooh, Arteta you were right all along, you were the right man for this job. Will you come back?' I'll be like: 'Yeah, sure how much money have you got? Cos this is going to cost ya, this is going to cost ya...'
As the nation crumbles, the horrified โhow did this happen?โ patter from columnists, journalists, advisers, strategists and centrists who spent years directly or indirectly bolstering the Tories, and smearing the left, is psychologically abusive to those suffering the fallout.
I remember when Phillip Schofield berated and harangued Jeremy Corbyn when he appeared on This Morning, in contrast to his fawning over Boris Johnson. Enjoy your disgrace, pal.
@piersmorgan
Good on him. You, too, know how evil the British empire was. But you pretend not to because you want the approval of fools these days. Itโs a far cry from your heroic stances on guns, Iraq, Covid.
@edballs
@GMB
Ed, this morning you tried to make a discussion about the horrors of Gaza all about you and now youโve posted a misleading tweet about what
@OwenJones84
said. I think thereโs only one Trumpian here.
@AlanRMacLeod
@RhonddaBryant
Chris, do you remember when you used to laugh and sneer at Jeremy Corbyn as he tried to make this country a fairer place? For clarity: we are all now laughing and sneering at you.
@piersmorgan
Making money by exposing and exploiting the Royalsโ most personal secrets - is that still about Harry, or are you describing your time editing the Mirror and News of the World?

If โnobody seems to know itโ perhaps thatโs because itโs utter rot? It could be that youโre right and seven billion are wrong, I guess.
In my new article I reveal what
#GrandNational
organisers donโt want you to know:
* Hundreds of horses die on UK courses every year
* Thousands of race horses are sent to slaughterhouse
* Others are sent to labs to be experimented on

'Not a Liverpool fan but I would like to offer my congratulations to them. You deserve it!'
Mate, you're not Obama, you're just some guy on Twitter. You don't have to release official statements.
@mrjamesob
James, he's spent his career fighting poverty and homelessness. Whether you like him or not, suggesting he's insincere on those issues is just silly.
Is anyone going to Celtic Park tomorrow to leave something for Bertie Auld? If I sent you the cash could you buy a scarf from the shop and leave it for me? Let me know if you can help. Thanks. ๐
@GaryLineker
I think the first two words of your tweet are the the truest ones. I donโt even mean that rudely, Gary. It seems you flirt with compassionate and enlightened politics but, when push comes to shove, youโre not sure.
Imagine if the media scrutinised the government as deeply and relentlessly as they do the working relationship between Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby?
My new article is for
@ACSOMPOD
. About campaigning for the Birmingham Six, falling in love with Celtic and a shamanic initiation when I went to my first match.
I donโt agree with talk about Newsnight having โheld power to accountโ. The moment Newsnight thought real power was going to be even vaguely held to account it shat the nest and joined the smears.
@BBCDanielS
You're a home affairs correspondent and you haven't noticed the game the government has played these past few months? I'm embarrassed for you, Daniel...
Nice to see Rachel Stevens trending. I interviewed her for the Big Issue years ago. I spent a few days with her and the highlight was when we walked through the West End together. She held my hand for a laugh and every bloke who walked past stared at me like he wanted to kill me.
@GaryLineker
Yep. I've interviewed over 100 top footballers/managers. Most were far brighter and much more moral than the people who sneer at footballers.
โLet me put it simply: if you eat beef then youโre not on the side of that cow. Youโre on the side of the people who will slit that cowโs throat and chop her into pieces.โ
My new piece for
