3: Exclusively Arabic dictionary: This is the same website, but this part of it is exclusively Arabic. There is no English. You can use this to find the Arabic roots of words. Learning the roots is vitally important in Arabic, so this is necessary. -

Going to take a break in sha' Allah. Probably won't post much at all and may not respond to some messages. May Allah protect us all.

A good way to improve your Arabic handwriting is to just do it frequently. Take a notebook and just practice writing when you have free time, or to pass the time when doing something else. Have fun with it; write the names of your family, friends, cities, etc.

There are several Arabic flashcard decks that I've used. These three decks cover the three Madinah Arabic books:

As-salam 'alaykum. For all those learning the Arabic language, I made a prompt for ChatGPT to create the text for effective flashcards. There are often inaccuracies, but even if you include the time for fixing those, this can save a lot of time.

1: Online translator Google Translate is very far from perfect, but if you see a word you don't know, it is generally a good idea to use it. It is often very bad for individual words, but it is good for checking your understanding of Arabic sentences. -

Check everything important that it gives you unless you already know it's correct.

5: Flashcard app This is a very powerful tool for learning vocabulary. Obviously you can use other resources to learn vocabulary, but honestly, you'd probably be wasting your time if you don't use this.

I also wrote a template for ChatGPT to make an flashcards. It is dodgy, but it generally does work. A lot of the information it gives is false though, so you still need to check.

Actually, I used ChatGPT itself to improve this to make it easier to use and more reliable. Here is the new link:

6: AI resources This is ChatGPT. You can use ChatGPT to do very basic tasks for you ("ChatGPT, write an Arabic sentence using this word" or "make some flashcards for me"). BE AWARE that it very often outputs blatantly incorrect information.

This deck has 5,000 Arabic words that are frequently used. This is very helpful, but be aware that there are several mistakes and typos in some of the words. It's still good to learn and you will correct these mistakes as you read more, in sha' Allah.

For example, if you want to find the root of the word "مظاهرة" (demonstration/protest), you would go to this website, paste the word into the search bar, and then scroll almost all the way to the bottom until you see the green bar. -
