The violence we are seeing starts & loops right back to the police. The people are not violent. Even them tearing things up to get justice is not violent. Hurting people is violent & police using bullets, rubber projectiles, tear gas, pepper spray, & bigots w/guns does that.

@GoesByWalton If folks mean Black, say Black. If they mean up to 2 other groups, name them. But this is a viable and useful way to speak about coalitions & communities in which 3+ groups are named, especially if you're speaking across contexts. And I've seen this be true in global & local ways

This isn't hyperbole. In his latest special, DC crudely speaks about some trans women's genitals, suggests that LGBTQ+ folks are overly sensitive & are responsible for getting people canceled, & names himself as a terf -- all of which have real life impact for folks.

What's bothering me in watching this is the age of these kids. I'm reminded that racial hatred & supremacy are things instilled early on in life. Their parents could've taught them empathy but instead opted to pass on bias and superiority complexes and it shows 😐.
