Bad news for fans of productivity! Good news for eagle-eyed spreadsheet fans.

I am buzzed to say I have started a dreamy new job working on the comms and PR for BBC Eurovision!
If you’re a journalist, blogger, producer or writer covering
@bbceurovision
2023, say hi! I’d love to hear from you and make sure you’re in the know 👋
Got a bit emotional thinking back to the lockdown in January, when we all really needed a lift. Fortunately,
#DragRaceUK
delivered!
Thank you to the queens and production teams who kept the show going. We owe you one ✨
Here’s what I think is my

Gosh. Imagine voluntarily touching something, and putting your face on it, today?!
It has been ✨a challenge✨ but I’m still pinching myself that I was part of the launch comms team for
@bbcthree
on TV.
Absolutely over the moon. Onto the next one!
Felt a bit ‘meh’, but then got on the Emirates Air Line cable car as the sun was setting and no longer feel ‘meh’. ✨Progression.✨
The 16x9 Twitter crop will obliterate my selfie, and I’m OK with that
It’s finally out of the bag: I’m *so* excited to present Weekend Breakfast on
@VirginRadioUK
#Pride
all through June! My first ever national radio show, woop woop!
Wish me luck as I try not to press the wrong buttons and take the station off-air 🤞🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
I can’t LinkedIn to save my life - but I’m excited to say I’ve been promoted to Publicist at the BBC in Team Factual.
It’s very exciting, and I’m looking forward to whatever is thrown at me next! 🚀
Not Carol McGiffin on
#LooseWomen
saying that people alleging fraud “weren’t listened to” 😬
Trump lost dozens of cases where he presented his case, Carol. Some were presided on by judges he appointed, spouting “they weren’t listened to” is nonsensical and dangerous.
How remarkably 2020! Eating Christmas dinner alone in the kitchen because of Covid in the house.
Merry Christmas, especially to those going it alone this year! 🥰🎄
Started working at the BBC a year ago! 🎉 And who knew what that year would have in store... 😬
Thanks to colleagues, friends (old, and new!) and family who’ve made this year a blast - despite the challenges! 🥰
It delights me to say, today is my first day in the incredible BBC Factual publicity team 🚀🌍
I am buzzed. Factual friends, natural nerds, documentary downers: if you write about factual content, let’s work together!
Started 2021 by welling up over turtles made of drones and the voice of Sir David Attenborough.
On that note... Happy New Year! I’m off to bed (but not before drinking lots of water).
#Welcome2021
Just had to kick a ball back to a bunch of guys playing in a nearby field.
Traumatic. Flashbacks to PE at school. Unsure if I’m ready for lockdown to ease.
Hello friends. Hope you’re doing OK and all that! We’re nearly 5 months into this pile of crap. You’re doing amazing ✨
I’ve been alone with my thoughts today and did a walk ‘n’ talk video that ended with me quoting High School Musical.
Clearing out my room today, I found my cards from when I won the opportunity to introduce *TAYLOR SWIFT* at Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2015, SIX years ago! (I was 17! 👶)
I feel bad for not chasing this dream NGL, I let my lack of self-worth and confidence get in the way… 1/2
I came out to my dad at 18 in a
@McDonaldsUK
car park, and to my mum at 17 as she was putting clothes away in a closet. Apt, really.
I hope, despite this year’s chaos and lack of Pride, you‘ll be living your true self soon. Whether you’re out or not, happy

The excited face of a dairy-unfriendly boy who has *just* discovered Caffe Nero’s vegan whipped cream.
Promise I’m not a PR for them, I’m just keen to share the news. Gotta find the life wins somewhere?!
This nested thread is getting too long! But this blight on our national productivity needs to be shared…
For the fifth week running, the receptionist on

is *still* working on the same Excel worksheet.

It’s exactly *six* years today since a wee 17-year-old me introduced Taylor Swift at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Norwich ✨🎤
Every year, I gradually get more comfortable with the fact I said “LET’S GET SHIFTY FOR SWIFTY” on national radio.
Determined for 2021 to be [even slightly] better than 2020, I thought I’d set out a cute little overview of my goals and aims as they stand.
I know we still have 5 days left this year, but it definitely doesn’t hurt to dream about an excellent 2021! ✨💥
Wonderful friends on Twitter, I have finally - after 16 months away - returned to living in London 🎉🏙
So happy and excited to be back. I’ve promised oh so many “once I’m back in London, let’s meet for coffee”, so if that sounds familiar please do let me know!
Here’s a reminder that it has been nearly THREE MONTHS since we began lockdown.
Whether working from home or going to work, furloughed or unemployed: you’ve got through three months of this ‘new normal’. Hold your head up high *even on the rough days* because you’ve got this.
In case you didn’t know, all of the Tube is cake. But which *type* of cake?

A childhood dream come true: that’s
#Eurovision2023
, done! ✅ Working on this years press campaign has been pure joy.
Eurovision is wild, it’s huge, and it’s the result of tireless work by countless people I’m lucky to call my colleagues.
After the most amazing five years (well, round 4.5 years up!) I’m leaving the BBC! 🏢
Nigella, Eurovision, General Election 2019, The Warship, and much more - I leave next week knowing I made a childhood dream come true.
I’m afraid to say the rumours are true: I did indeed use 2-in-1 shower gel this morning to wash my hair, mistakenly.
I’m sorry to my friends, my family and - most importantly - my hair follicles.
The doors at my local Tesco wouldn’t open for me, despite a big green light… but everyone before and after me got through fine?! 🤔
Didn’t have “being bullied by the automatic doors at Tesco” on my To Do list today but here we are, it’s crossed off.
A small warning: I am feeling ✨my oats✨ and like a new man after yesterday’s haircut and my first pint!
Shout out to the 10/10 photography from
