Brilliant article by Fred Chaney on the Voice in the Saturday Paper makes the point that the idea behind the Voice is not complex but it will serve to remind Governments that before taking action affecting Indigenous peoples they should at least hear what they’ve got to say!

I was more or less in favour of the Corona Virus App on the basis that with proper safeguards it could useful. After listening to Minister Robert this morning, I have no confidence that anything could run well under his direction.

It remains an abiding disgrace and let us not forget that it’s architect was Morrison.

The Australian Government's treatment of #asylumseekers , in both onshore and offshore detention, continues to be cruel and inhumane. It is also a waste of taxpayers' money. #politas #auspol

Dutton is dropping the facade and returning to type in engaging in complaints about the security costs involved in bringing a few unfortunate Australian women and children back from the Middle East. He and Brandis inflicted upon us an expensive system that can surely handle this

The LNP can always be relied to make the wrong choice about important issues. They have now launched an attack upon Uni students seeking a liberal education for misguided ideological reasons. They don't remember that their founder, Menzies, pioneered the opposite in 1949.

Great comment by Hugh White quoted in today’s AFR ‘ This is a defence policy entirely devoid of a military strategy’.
