When I asked Harris County Pre Trial Services about bond violation reports for defendants who violated their electronic monitoring conditions I was told they currently do not keep records. In addition there are no records how many defendants have had their bond revoked

In the past several weeks an 11, 15 and an 18 year old boy have been murdered in Houston. There have been no press conferences, no protests and no demands for justice. Nobody has said anything about the revolving door at the Courthouse or the ramifications of felony bond reform

@nypost One of the suspects recently completed an 11 year prison sentence in Texas and had prior felony convictions for Assault of a Public Servant. The suspect was recently granted a PR (Get Out of Jail Free Card) Bond for Assault and yet again with Assault and bonded out again
