On May 8th, 1987, eight Volunteers and loved family men lost their lives in a planned British Army / RUC ambush. Anthony Hughes also killed and his brother Oliver seriously injured. Sorely missed each and everyone of them. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-anamacha uaisle.

The UK press has to do a better job at scrutinising these American politicians passing comment on Northern Ireland every five minutes. Plenty of them went to the rubber chicken fundraisers which paid for the bombs and bullets which prolonged the Troubles. They are not unbiased.
