Snow forts are fun but creating a tunnel in a snow bank can be dangerous. If the top collapses, a child can get trapped & suffocate. A safer way to build a fort is on solid ground from the ground up. Remind children not to play on snowbanks near traffic or plow areas. #AjaxFire

Children aren't responsible for testing alarms BUT if we involve them with pressing the test button each month then hopefully it will become a habit that they continue for life. Think of seatbelts, you buckled them in when they were little & now it's routine #AjaxFire @TownOfAjax
