If you’re a profitable trader, you should move somewhere where there is no tax, like Dubai. If you are passionate about trading then you are literally putting yourself decades ahead of people paying 40% tax like Australia, UK and Netherlands for example. 10 yrs of 40% adds up

I used to be in the mindset of “personal account is better than prop firm capital.” But a 200k prop firm challenge might cost you $700-1000 and now you have 200k in simulated funds risking only the fee Whereas if you load $20k into a personal account you can lose your own $20k

When climbing the steps of success imagine every 3rd step being broken and you fall back to the bottom again… Except the next time you know that’s a broken step so you skip over it, only to find another step that sends you falling back down. Keep pushing, it’s worth it.

Is $10,000 enough to live in Dubai the way I do? Hell no! Just living expenses for me sits around double that. But I have several other sources of income so I don’t need the money from the prop firm. Rather focus on scaling and building it, won’t stop till we are at the top.

I think there is a good 2-3 years of the current prop model left. Regulation will catch up, and it’s a good thing. And it will also likely mean real funds only. Challenges will be harder but you will get paid out every time as it’s real capital. On the prop side, this is less

Learning to trade is easy, it can take 3-6 months for a beginner to learn an advanced strategy. However, pairing that with good psychology takes years. And that’s why you’ll never see someone becoming profitable in a year. It takes several years to pair psych + skillset.
