I love that Luke and Jonny are the same height but Luke always shows Benedict Bridgerton sliding down and lazing when he sits while Jonny shows Anthony Bridgerton sitting straight, ready to jump into action at a moment’s notice. They know their characters so well. ♥️ #Bridgerton

@hybridqueens Exactly! The 2+ years between seasons is crazy. Three seasons in, they should be more efficient. Everyone is going to get too old for their parts. For Eloise, they’ll likely do a time jump. Amanda and Oliver need to be older if they follow part of the book plot.

@Rach_elle619 Exactly. I heard this line and just knew it was going to be misunderstood. Violet is saying Colin is sensitive to other people’s feelings and focused on making them happy. Anthony is focused on ensuring his large, chaotic family is looked after, safe, secure, and scandal-free.

@thatclarafied Agreed. Except Hollywood is too narrow-minded and risk averse. If you look at all the recent casting announcements, it’s predominantly famous white actors being cast in things. The lack of representation grows instead of shrinking. And young talent gets barely any opportunities.

@ZendayasDriving They tried a unique Indian braiding style called “khajuri” aka date palm which is meant to look like the leaves / flowers of that plant. Points for it being a nod to India but the mess in the front & top & back center means the braid looks bad too. Worst hairstyle of the show. 😠

@peachybonsai I’m Indian & this dress in an insult to a saree. It’s like a craft project with random fabrics stitched together badly. The blue lace-like fabric looks torn in places as if Newton chewed on it. The bottom dark blue draping is ridiculous. S3 had some good dresses. This wasn’t one.

@filled_popcorn Anthony & Colin are written very differently. Really no point comparing them. Trauma & fear of love are central in A’s story. It earns him a lot of sympathy. No one is blind to his faults but we understand his reasons and are thrilled he found Kate and they are very happy.

@MaxJGao One set of leads per season format can be paired with a true family ensemble. Plenty of stories to tell for Daphne, Anthony, Kate, Penelope, Colin. They don’t wish to. Forget full sideplots, they could negotiate cameo appearances. They are choosing not to.

@Sophia_dreams58 I actually think the S2 E8 conversation was partly a resolution of the issue. Ben confront him and Anthony says he recognizes Ben’s talent in art among other things and encourages him to purse it. After his engagement, Anthony likely did speak to Ben further offscreen.
