Why is the NIMBY answer always that people should move regionally? I would love to but my job requires me to be in the office 4 days a week. I have a very city-based job so it's not like I can pick up a regional alternative. You know who doesn't need to live in the city? Boomers.

No overseas acquired cases and 10 positive in the community, yet those positive in the community will be at home and those negative from overseas will be stuck in hotel quarantine and charged $1000s for it. Yeah, that seems fair. 🙄🙄

@jmho2018 @RealAnitaWhite Soooo... you're blaming a 10 year old kid for giving a virus to two families. This is sick. It's a virus.

By restricting passenger planes in by capping international arrivals, did Aussies not realise that this might also affect their ability to get stuff from overseas?

@mlw_es Same thing happened to me, I told them to take the higher offer if they wanted more money - turns out it was a bluff from the real estate agent. It's illegal and so so bad.

Why any migrant would want to come here after we have treated them so poorly for two years is beyond me!

I am no longer one of thousands of #strandedAussies but in the 3 months I've been home, I've seen so much selfishness and very little of what I would call mateship. Australians need to take a good look at themselves.

What values are we celebrating on #australiaday ? Is this Australian mateship, the way onshore Australians have treated #strandedAussies ? What are we proud of, as a country, when people treat others like this? @ScottMorrisonMP @SBSNews #WeAreNotOneAndFree #LetUsBackToAus

I always thought of myself as a left-winger. But the left are being so stupid and unreasonable about covid that I have unfollowed accounts I've agreed with for years! I've swung so far that I'm doing a complete circle. It's very off-putting. What the hell is going on?

Lollll... What sport are you playing Annastacia? You didn't get the AZ jab for months even though eligible, but now you get Pfizer? And thousands of Aussies can't leave OR get home, but you're allowed to? You're a disgrace.

Oh fuck right off. I keep most of my phones for 4 years or more and don't buy $20 drinks and still can't afford a home. She bought a house in Coogee for $150,000 and thinks she can lecture people younger than her who are doing it tough. Go away boomer.

This is so weird. Why can't we just have a VACCINE push rather than a specific brand? Is Anna being paid by Pfizer? I mean, where else do governments do advertising for big pharma? It's weird.

Qatar airways got me home in 2020. During the pandemic, Qatar really was the airline for Australia, while Qantas was too busy taking government money and twiddling its thumbs as Aussies remained stranded overseas 🤬

Let non-permanent residents come back home, and out of fortress Australia! We should be looking after these people before tourists FFS!

The Australian gov has now launched a tourism campaign in Singapore to attract tourists here. Meanwhile, non-permanent residents still don’t even have a date when we can see our families and return home. They get away with it because Australians - and the opposition - let them.

End of December? This is crazy. How are you going to get all #strandedAussies home by Christmas @ScottMorrisonMP or was that just another lie to make it look like you were doing something to help? #RemoveTheCap and let Aussies home!

Two of my family members have died in the past few days in Wales. One of them was 42 and has a kid who is now motherless. I literally cannot believe that there are some people out there who don't believe in covid. Don't be stupid. Wear a mask. 😷❤️
