Just back from @NeurIPSConf and had an awful experience with @British_Airways : 1) denied check-in since they had overbooked the flight and kept on standby, 2) stood for 2+ hours on the side at check-in, after which I was finally given a boarding pass and told to wait at the gate,

If this is the way @British_Airways treats business class customers, I wonder what kind of treatment I should expect if I had been flying economy class as I usually do. Threatening foreigners with security when the fault is 100% on the airline is clearly wrong. Do better!

In fact, the behaviour of the @British_Airways manager was so offensive that one of the ground staff asked me to raise this concern with the airline. I had to eventually make my own plans since @British_Airways did not do anything at the airport, when it was obviously their job.

Our work "Provably Efficient Model-based Policy Adaptation" has been accepted to ICML 2020! We propose a novel model-based policy adaptation algorithm to generate trajectories in unseen target envs and theoretically prove that they converge to trajectories in the source domain.

3) @British_Airways manager told me when boarding started that I would not be flying, then threatened me with security when I simply said I had just done as I was instructed, 4) told me to contact my travel agent and make my own plans,

5) kept me waiting without my bags at the baggage claim with no staff at the counter (they had left without resolving my issue); was luckily able to get hold of one of the staff elsewhere at the airport and retrieve my luggage.
