One of the best things about this is the chaos of the players' celebration. All spontaneous - no choreographed posing or risible 'shush'-type gestures. They lose it. Don't know know who to grab, where to run to. The keeper breaks the men's 100 metre world record.

Harry Winks's departure is a decent indicator of what kind of Spurs fan you are: one who has the good grace and basic manners to wish a HG boyhood fan well after a trying few seasons, or chasing him off with yet more gratuitous abuse and spite.

Hot take on Harry Kane: don't sell him. £100m in the bank will not score and create goals, and not possibly hope to compensate for the loss of a generational talent. Wring every last drop out of him for as long as possible.

This is a reminder that the far right never really made inroads at WHL like it did at other London grounds, and a counter to the absolute tools now tarnishing the club crest by associating it in any shape or form with the modern far right

The Conte interview is like the Bible IMO: people will pick what they want from it in order to support their belief. FWIW here’s mine: it changes nothing. Appointing Conte was a good move but will be redundant if he isn’t supported. The rest is pretty much noise.

Injuries happen. Bad luck happens. Not having back up in place - that’s not bad luck.

Quite the contrast between the Spurs service of Alderweireld and Lamela, yet you’d be forgiven for thinking the latter was Ghod the way some bang on.

The other notable incredible thing about Kane is that no one saw it coming. No one, whatever they might claim later. Shearer was rated early, Lampard 'a future England midfielder'. Rooney destined for greatness as a foetus. Kane was almost 20 and on the bench at Norwich.
