Today, I met Maria, an 11-year-old cancer survivor getting a new prosthetic limb at a UNDP-supported centre. Her dream of becoming a doctor to fight diseases like cancer is inspiring. Every child in Syria deserves access to healthcare.

Every child deserves a future. In Al-Hol camp, where 41K people, mainly women and children, remain, the future looks bleak. The int’l community must work together for a political solution. In parallel, improving the dire conditions for the people must be prioritized!

#Syria ’s water crisis is endangering the lives of millions of vulnerable people. This project in Al-Hasakeh helps address the issue of water shortages through 16 reverse osmosis stations. Each point serves 32,000 people and provides access to safe water.
