Have to give Julius Randle some credit for this moment here.
Shortly after he was called for a pretty ridiculous technical foul, he made a visible effort to calm himself down and lock back into the game.
This was a game Randle would've gotten thrown out of last season.
Makes me sad that there’s a massive online community of passionate Knick fans who put out great content 24/7/365, and then this account puts out one video a year that makes the fanbase look like a bunch of animals

"In the playoffs, there's no first and second unit. If you want to win the series, we all have to be ready."
- Bojan Bogdanovic on the Knicks' reserves
Fred Katz: “I get the sense that Dallas is very frustrated with the Knicks front office”
Then states that he heard from multiple sources that Dallas was very angry that Leon, Wes, and Julius showed up to their playoff game vs Utah.
Rick Carlisle on the overturned double-dribble call toward the end of Q4 tonight:
"That's small beans compared to everything else. Small market teams deserve an equal shot. They deserve a fair shot no matter where they're playing"
The Knicks are exactly what NBA media thinks the Memphis Grizzlies are.
Young and steadily-improving team with plenty of cap flexibility and tradeable assets.
Well-established culture built upon multiple seasons of defense and intensity.
And zero off the court drama.
ESPN Sources: All-NBA forward Julius Randle underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left ankle and is expected to be ready for the New York Knicks’ training camp in the fall:
From Fournier’s benching on December 4th to the end of the RS, the Knicks were
37-22 (51 win pace)
3rd in OFF RTG
5th in NET RTG
Fournier posted a -8.9 on/off prior to his benching, the worst of all NYK rotation players.
Evan can complain all he wants. The Knicks don’t care.
Pretty annoying that the Knicks are in the middle of their best season in years, have two all-star talents, made a trade for a huge piece, and just won two straight, but 80% of the discourse on this app today has been complaining about RJ Barrett
RJ Barrett at age 17 against a Team USA squad that featured Cam Reddish, Immanuel Quickley, PJ Washington, Kevin Huerter, and others:
33 min, 38P, 13R, 5A, 50% FG, W.
Special Talent from Day 1.
“Some people believe this is an inevitability…I think we're going to hear a lot about Donovan Mitchell and the New York Knicks in the coming days."
- Brian Windhorst (
@WindhorstESPN
)
As the dust settles… I get why NY did this trade. RJ is a negative asset and paying Quickley makes the finances hairy.
OG is going to take this starting lineup to another level.
But IQ is one of those guys you have to do everything to keep a Knick for life.
RJ Barrett assesses his play from today:
"Terrible. I'm very disappointed in how I played today. It's a lot right now. You fight for something and you want something so bad. Today I personally did not play my best"
One of my longtime Randle pet peeves - it’s always “we” after he has an individually bad game.
Brunson is never afraid to take accountability for himself. Always tells media straight up that he has to be better.
"We're not getting anything easy. I feel like we're just working hard for everything right now"
Julius Randle says he feels his struggles with his shot is more of a rhythm issue
95% of the league would be throwing a fit to the media if they were stuck in this situation in a contract year.
He’s a one of one talent and a true professional.
Indefensible misuse from Thibs this season and every season he’s been on the roster.
