11 years ago I was in Cooperstown, NY for my 13 year old son’s baseball tournament. It was a trip to remember! Me and my life were so different back then. I could have never imagined my life now. It still blows my mind! Enjoy the journey and create memories!

I’m not in my 20s or 30s anymore, so I don’t respond with whooping someone’s ass. I will continue to be a beacon of light in an otherwise dark place. I want women to know that we can still be beautiful as we age! Sometimes even more beautiful with our age!

I have been beautiful my whole life, and I hated it. I hated the attention that it drew and the stigmas attached to it. I focused on my children and my brain. I did my best to be a good person in this world and make a difference. I didn’t want to be known for my looks.

I didn’t want to ever appear to be conceited or self-centered. I was fortunate that I didn’t have to focus on my beauty because I naturally had it. I’ve never known how to do makeup and fortunate that I never had to.
