For the “the fans are going to games crowd”:
My 2020 season ticket renewal cost was $2600
For 2022, it was $4100
That seat did not get more valuable and the product on the team did not get better. I would have loved to have kept my tickets, but there was no way I could afford to
The A’s have lost their damn minds. My one seat went up over $1700 from the 2020 price.
$4,100. No thanks.
I am still waiting for my renewal gift for renewing for the 2020 season that they promised they were sending out in January 2020.
I had a full season plan and went to about 50 games each season. I bought food at the concessions at every single game. I did my part until I was priced out
In addition to the price of the tickets going up, the free parking that was once included with my tickets was removed ($35 a game x 50 games= $1,750). Previous seasons offered 50% discount at concessions, also gone. 25% discount on merchandise at the team store, also gone.
As I sit here sobbing in my living room, thank you. Thank you to all of the amazing and wonderful people that I got to meet and know because of baseball in Oakland. My life is better because of you and I’m grateful we got to experience it all together. 💛💚
My friend passed away yesterday. I’m so grateful for the time I got with her, but I wish I had gotten more. My heart breaks for her family and her kids.
I’ve always wanted to sit in diamond level. Been battling a mysterious illness for over a year and would love for something positive to happen right about now.
I’m giving away all 4 of my diamond level seats for Wednesday’s WC game! RT with why you deserve a pair! Most likes gets in final poll on Tuesday!

Oakland A's leaders are touring ballparks in Salt Lake City and Sacramento this week, per
@mickakers
, exploring potential venues for the 2025-2027 seasons.
The team's lease in Oakland is up after 2024 — and their $1.5 billion Vegas ballpark won't be done until 2028.
@kabirchahal
I don’t. But there’s a lot big people tweeting me and others that I should have gone to games if I was such a fan. Trying to explain to people exactly what actually went on here and why nobody is at the games
When the owner stops caring about the fans, treats them like trash, and tries to leave, why would the fans give him money? When you treat people like they are replaceable and an inconvenience, you deserve nothing.
Tarnished memories.
I think I missed the $2 tickets.
I didn’t miss my season tickets going from $2700 to $4100.
The fans showed up until the ownership showed that they don’t like us. It’s like an abusive relationship and we finally said we aren’t taking this abuse anymore. Then they blamed us
Hot take A fans need to quit complaining about the move to Vegas as it is their fault the team is moving they don’t help generate any funds for the team tickets are $2 and they don’t show up and support their team.. the Athletics are moving because of the market Oakland generates
It’s days like today that make you miss the people that are no longer here. You miss them always, but a lot more. I wanted to text my friend pictures repeatedly today and got sad when I remembered I couldn’t.
I don’t want the Oakland A’s to become a sad memory.

One of the highlights of the night: a police officer stopped me outside of the stadium to ask if the A’s has just played a series nearby.
“The Brewers are 90 miles away and didn’t have this many fans here. You’re telling me you all came from California?!”
#RootedInOakland
Giants fans saying it’s ridiculous for the A’s to celebrate their 1989 team. It’s a year of celebrations all season.
Also, the team never got a parade. Let the players and fans have their moment.
I’m told Chad Pinder is retiring after his game with Gwinnett tonight. Such a wonderful person. Never got the playing time to establish himself the way many of us thought he would but always a superb and unselfish team leader. He will be a great manager one day.
You would think that after losing two sports teams, the city of Oakland would be a little more concerned about the possibility of losing the last one. Get your sh*t together.
I hate rude people. I really hate when people are rude to employees, berate them in front of others, and then complain to their managers about them. You still felt that you were right, despite the rest of us saying you were wrong and an asshole. I hope your bobblehead breaks.
Another ballpark down! Had a blast in Denver as always.
Next month, Minnesota will complete the AL until the Rangers open their new stadium.

Rob Manfred said he would be ‘disappointed’ if the A’s franchise did not open its Las Vegas Stadium by Opening Day, 2028, and that more clarity is needed on what is a still complicated, to say least, re-location process.
