I tried headshotpro, here's my honest review :
-
@dannypostmaa
is a genius, the process is SO refined
- looking at ai versions of yourself is jarring at first
- its worth it just for the fun value alone, but the results were awesome imo
@nico_jeannen
Even if you take 20 years to build a profitable biz, the time is spent building an audience, gaining valuable skills in multiple areas, and being in a state of motion. It’s 10x better than wasting the time after work playing warzone, or melting your brain on twitch.
2 Weeks into building in public:
• 76 Followers on X yay!
• Launched B2B SASS w/ 3 Users
• Joined an amazing slack community
• Finished “content os” by Justin Welsh
This is just the beginning!
Got started with cold email last week.
***I have no idea what I am doing*** but my mind is blown on these stats so far....
@RCIllingworth
&
@gat0rtheskater
have pulled off some sort of magic for me.
If you can learn to code, you can get abs.
If you need a system, then steal mine.
Remember getting abs is much harder than keeping abs. Like 10 to 20x harder.

I'm not perfect.
I sleep in
I skip workouts
I eat bad food
That doesn't stop me from:
• Shipping code
• Researching marketing channels
• Building a community on x
Prioritize where you put your discipline
There’s a season for everything
@nico_jeannen
I’m over here spending 10x time and frustration building a full stack app when I could be just a profitable with a no code wrapper 🤦🏼🤦🏼🤦🏼
You do not want 10k MRR
My Business has done 10k to 20k MRR for 7 years
What you actually want is
- Huge Profit Margins
- Minimal Human Resources (aka staff)
- Sales that come from systems instead of your direct effort
@desmondhth
That headline hits home becuase it’s true, people will feel it when they read it. I do like what Marc (shipfast guy) was posting about the h1 and p being justified left making it way easier to read. Also having a secondary color for p slightly lighter feels better.

@ravikabir_
Definitely feel the lack of discipline to keep progress on multiple project at once… it usually ends up being the one I enjoy more 😓😓
@DanKulkov
Can I charge fitness centers $1500 dollars to build them a website? Are business still paying for that kind of thing with wix, Wordpress etc…. ?
Here is how I learned Next.js after years of Vanilla React.
- started a massive project with next
- broke a ton of things
- fixed a ton of things
- now I know how to use next.js
I built my first full-stack SAAS in 3 weeks and have 3 users.
1. I don’t play video games
2. I don’t watch netflix
3. I don’t drink alcohol
I think about pain people have, and try to alleviate it with code.
Everyday my kids get older my stress builds.
- I don’t want to spend their childhood on my laptop
- Building a SAAS is a big risk that might never payoff
- I need to get profitable
Any other dads deal with this?

@DanKulkov
Just a heads up from someone who is outside / new to the scene. The amount of value you provide for free on a regular basis establishes you as an easy follow / authority figure in the space. It’s working.
@d4m1n
Damn I was sitting on my couch at 5am laughing like an idiot, the surprises just kept coming. Can't believe Marc has been hiding the secret to his success this whole time -> sentry.
Here is how to make your life a living hell.
Focus on how little followers you have everyday, spend time reflecting on how nobody reads your tweets and how progress feels impossible.
@thedevtimeline
Believe it or not, I have a lot of fun developing and marketing, its type two fun though, not type one fun, google it if you dont know... lol
@enriquemoreno
I started with B, but think I am going to switch to A. If someone wants to give me their money I don't want to introduce any friction of making a user account.
@ravikabir_
@desmondhth
I do this weird thing, were I say to myself how can I get a “little closer”. I’ll just go and sit in my office chair, or I’ll put out a journal and write down some super broad, easy next steps. I’ll just keep getting a little closer to doing the work.. until I am lol.
My tech stack as a web developer:
- OS: Fedora
- Code Editor: VS Code.
- Browser: Chrome.
- Design: WhiteBoard ( a real one)
- Frontend: NextJS + TailwindCSS.
- Backend: Node Js
- Database: Mongo DB
- Hosting: AWS + Ubuntu Server
- Domain: Namecheap.
What about you?
@DanKulkov
I understand, I do cold outreach for my fitness service business, avg ticket is 360/mo, so it’s a comfortable channel for me. Time to learn a different channel for my low cost saas… appreciate the insight 🙏
@CranQnow
You do and so do I, but last year I booked 1/100 cold outbound calls for a meeting, and sold 1/3 bookings that showed for up for an average LTV of $2272. Every call I dialed was $20 in my pocket. People are scared to dial the phone and it is now a huge arbitrage.
