Lol I remember a crime I committed and my father flogged me. As my dad was flogging me, both he and my mum were praying aloud for me. Afterwards, they opened one page in open heavens devotional that talked about that sin and read it to me and admonished me.

Hypergrace is a lie from hell, no doubt. But this right here is also false and untrue. God’s love for us is all encompassing, and His omniscience (such a comforting doctrine) ensures that even our future, have all been cleared and forgiven in Christ. See Psalm 139:1-12 below

Whilst I agree that flogging as a method of discipline must be done with wisdom, utmost care and love, I do not agree that it is a lazy method of disciplining. Of course, there are those who have abused it beyond reasonable limits, but it still isn’t a lazy way of discipline.
