No credibility to any platforms or people suggesting this fella to be part of the Ireland team.
Failure in England,
Later went to the mighty Cyprus league & played a grand total of 5 games.
Good LOI player but that's the height of it.
We are crying out for a midfielder who can put their foot on the ball.
We will never know unless this man is at least given an opportunity to show if he can do it for Ireland.
Would certainly suit the international game.
His personality reached so many people from all over.
Dundalks Greatest ever character. Would of done anything for anyone.
Thanks for all the memories & laughs.
Will be an extremely tough time for this town, Look after everyone from above
Long live Maxi ❤️❤️
Some wee fella passed me earlier what team do you support? Dundalk.
What about Liverpool or man united ?
No Dundalk
Don't let your kids grow up thinking football is a TV series or stop educating them about the magic of supporting your local club 👊👊 ⚫⚪🇮🇪
Remember the glory days of Dundalk beating Bate Borisov , drawing Legia Warsaw, drawing away to Az Alkmaar with ten men, Going 1 up against Zenit, beating Maccabi Tel Aviva & now you've Irish teams losing to teams in Gibraltar Ffs 😮💨
1) Ruairi Higgins post match interview in Bohs V Derry
2) Derry fans flag in Dalymount
3) Galway fans at home to Dundalk
4) 96th min equaliser by Kenny, Maxi looking down with that.
You'd be looking down smiling at all that Maxi 🖤🤍
This day 4 years ago we were travelling to Amsterdam to see Dundalk play AZ Alkmaar away in Europa League Group stage.
10 man Dundalk equalise late. 1-1
First Irish club to get any points in Europa League.

Worst night in football, I felt sorry for Mountney he was heartbroken as were the team. The obvious was too many weren't good enough for us but over the last while in particular they gave their Best effort in a V. tough situation.
Proud of our fans
We will Rise again 🙏⚫⚪
Let's all give Maxi the Biggest send off possible today.
There will never be a character like him in this town again
Lads coming from all over, lad got train at 6 this morning from Derry & got a flag especially made
As he would say "sure where would you get it"
One of a kind🫶
Lee Grace is never gonna get a game ahead of:
Collins(Brentford) Prem
Omobamidele(N. forest) Prem
O'Shea (Burnley) Prem
Scales (Celtic) SPL/Champs League
Fair few others ahead of him as well
Absolute 🚀 😂😂
For a so called LOI man, Kenny is a disgrace. Again not a current LOI player named. Shamrock Rovers just done 4 in a row, we have potentially one of the best ball playing defenders the league might see for a very long time in Lee Grace, and is overlooked yet again. Sick of it 😡
One of the best atmospheres in oriel in a long long time , SSA had the place rocking 💪
One of the best battling displays I've ever seen by a Dundalk team.
All in all one of the best days supporting Dundalk 🫶

Gonna say this to get it out of my system & enjoy the rest of my day. 😅
Zak Johnson , an 18 year old ON LOAN from Sunderland, The only person with a set of balls to come over & apologize to the fans.
Manager, staff,Captain & the rest of the players but an 18 yr old on loan 1/2
Back in 2013,
We were in the Friary Hall til 2am in the morning finishing this ahead of a big game V Pats with the game in a matter of Hrs.
Maxi was doing runs up to us with paints brushes etc to make sure he could try help us as much as possible to get that Tifo done in time 🖌️
Turner's Cross in Cork, Eamon Deacy Park in Galway, The Showgrounds in Sligo, RSC in Waterford all grounds capable of hosting U21 games. Spreading them out next term as opposed to the one stadium in Tallaght would be good.
Said it from the start there is some quality there in that team, He is doing a great job under a small budget, they're really playing for this man who bleeds black & white ⚫⚪
Delighted to be part of the Supporter Liaison team for the 2023 season.
If any fans have any issues on match nights or need help with anything, don't hesitate to contact one of us and we will do our Best to help.

🏁 We are delighted to welcome Mark McCumiskey, Aaron Ferguson, Danny O’Connell, Dominic McKevitt and Fiachra Taaffe onto our Supporter Liaison Team for the 2023 League of Ireland season.

Just for the record,
@DaneMassey3
being with us since 2013 and leaving at start of season. If had of known & had the chance IMO you would have got something similar to Shieldsy.

Big big statement by the club getting Darryl back. We already have two top wingers in Dano Kelly & Ryan Okane which will only lift their game too. Great day for Dundalk fans , let's lift the place Thursday and create a big night in Europe 🇪🇺
Get up to Oriel tomorrow night, Pack out the ground, bring a friend, buy an extra ticket, buy a programme, buy a pint , buy a scarf , get behind them tomorrow night and let's put some Greatness into Oriel Park 🖤🤍 Mon the town
Killian Phillips the latest to get the James McClean treatment for failing to stand with remembrance day & not wear a poppy.
This should be a choice not mandatory especially given from where he is from & the history
People stand for freedom of speech til it doesn't suit them.
@RTEsoccer
5 competitive goals for Ireland in his career as a striker? He did well lasting as part of the squad as long as he did. He is long past his sell by date, Get over it Shane. ❌
They may say I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one..
Just putting an idea out there..
A serious rally of events over time by the people of Dundalk + Government funding + Local Funding + Owner investment into project
#DundalkFC
The boys are back in town.
Looking forward to having some of our Barnsley brothers back over Friday v the Zombies.
If you see em' don't be afraid to say hello & buy em' a drink, Top lads 👏

Never fall in Love with a loan player-Easier said than done after that shambles against 10 men Drogheda in April, an 18 year old loanee was the one to come over to the Shed to apologise that night.
I hope to get over & see him play for Sunderland at some stage, least he deserves
A mad football fan who travels and posts about his experiences was in Oriel Friday v Cork and this was his views on it.
Got serious goosebumps with this.
Make you feel seriously proud.
It really sums up our Great club more than anything.
One Love ❤❤❤
Best of luck to
@VMSportIE
tonight, Hope they get the figures they deserve for the Dublin Derby,
Been a breathe of fresh air with their coverage & Let's hope they're in it for the long haul alongside RTE, Having two broadcasters sharing games throughout would be Great for
#LOI
4 games away from 5 Lge. titles in 6 years
Europa league group stages
1st Irish team to get a point
1st Irish team to win
The FAI cups, league cups etc
Sure we'll party at Linfield in Nov
A club steeped with massive history
What a glorious period for
#Dundalk

After they beat us in Oriel
Pats fans were sending me this & giving it loads can't be bothered to find the rest of them to tag But I'm sure they'll be on to see it
All the Best in your court case 😅
There is No Need To Be Upset 🤝
As much as miss Stephen Kenny as Dundalk manager, There's something delightful hearing "Ireland manager Stephen Kenny" on the news. What he did with us was phenomenal. He deserves this so much- I've no doubt he will lead Ireland into future tournements.
The 🐐🐐🐐
I'll stand there in the freezing cold with top of going nuts for the 90 if yas get me into Aviva. I'll make sure they hear me. I did worse in Baltic cold in st.petersburg. UEFA won't mind me I'm a nice guy.
🏟 We would really love to turn the Aviva Stadium black and white on Thursday night.
🏁 If you have a
#DundalkFC
flag or banner that you would like to be on display at the Aviva, please drop it up to Oriel Park before 5pm on Wednesday.

The Murals seek have done are top Quality but can we not get a big Dundalk FC one in town?
The centre piece of the town & community, there used to be a great one in Francis Street.
This is the 120 years of Dundalk FC existence. Can they not do one/ two in town to celebrate it?
Wow! The latest

Looks like it's going to be unbelievable, the detail in the eyes alone 👀

Gutted at this fella leaving
Been a big fan since he came here 5 years ago & delighted to have sponsored him last season.
Honest hard working player that can take a player on , assist you a goal or score vital goals himself.
You'll be missed 😪
@Dano_kelly
Seriously can't get over how good last few days/nights were. Very seldom everything comes together but fuck me what a fucking lift that has given everyone in what has been a miserable year. Hands down best few days if the year so far. What a buzz and lift it has given us all.
You step on the bus for your first away game back. You open your can and have your first sip. You step into the ground look around and see the place rocking. Everyone's happy and lifes good again ✌
Grazia Mile
For some of those great moments we had last season.
You guys came in and qualified us for europe and brought us home the FAI Cup again.
Thanks for all your effort. 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
Best of luck to you you both ❤

Paul the shamrock rovers fan thinks jack Byrne is good enough to play International football-
Despite failing at Man City, Blackburn, Oldham, Kilmarnock & went to Cyprus to play 5 games but of course he is international standard 😎
Tony - Man Utd fan from Monaghan doesn't think Jack is good enough to play in the current squad because he watched him that one Friday night on RTE and he didn't score and read something in the paper about him not making it in Cyprus.
The Hard work has to begin now
#DundalkFC
This scenario can never happen again.
A supporters Trust must now be established with a supporters model behind it.
Fundraisers start now little to large, They'll all amount.
Everyone now has to play their part better than Ever.
#DFC
Dundalk Football Club is delighted to announce that a takeover of the club has been agreed upon between Brian Ainscough and Dundalk native John Temple.
Sad to see us lose and all but we were absolutely spoilt over the last 6 years, some dundalk fans don't deserve it, those who do, we seen Dundalk do with what no other LOI fans will see their team do. Anyway onto Bohs Monday need to win next two & then beat the scum at home 😬🚫
Squad is slowly shaping up , still a few big voids to fill in the GK & ST department mainly.
Fans must stop living in the era we had under Kenny & realise where we are right now.
We can build ourselves back up if the town can get behind them.
Support is vital ⚫⚪
#Dundalk
Ireland's 1st club to win away in Europe
Ireland's 1st club to get a point in Group stage
Ireland's 1st club to win in group stage
We will get to the Group stage for the 2nd time
We will continue to punch above our weight
They all say our days are over

There is something about the atmosphere in Oriel that can capture your imagination.
Might be an old and outdated stadium but It can be a magical place at times with serious passion.
What a pic from last Friday 👁

Feel really Sorry for Skip,
He sounds seriously dejected.
He left a team that was in a good place & doing well going back to a club he loves & cares deeply about to try fix the mess.
He's hurting as much as the rest of us & I hope he picks himself up whatever happens
Weve got a Patrick McEleney
Weve got a robbie benson too
Weve got a super stephen kenny
Weve got a Dane Massey too
So if you're black and white
You love the lily whites
Davey Mac will score for you
That was the chant of all time. 🐐
Unbelievable stuff really no words can explain to what this means to us.
We as fans battled long and hard against what was going on and thankfully the nightmare and the fight is now over 🙉🙉

No-one would pay 1m for a 27 year old player that failed at :
Permanent moves: Wigan (2 games), Kilmarnock (5 games), APOEL ( 5 games) 🥶
Good League of Ireland player no doubting that but if you're to say he is well higher than that level you're off your rocker
Jack Byrne has been offered a new contract at Shamrock Rovers!☘️
It would be huge for Rovers and fans of the league if he stays.
I personally feel if Rovers were to consider selling him they should hold out for a million and make it the record few for a LOI player👊🏼
Looking forward to a Gary Rogers testimonial in a year or two
@DundalkFC
in a packed out Oriel. It's a must!
What a man and what a servant

Despite being probably on a fraction of the budget we had last season , the difference in the club back being run right and having a manager that demands 110% the Dundalk FC we all know 👌
Complete new Dundalk Trust scheme has to happen within the next few weeks.
Need to strike the iron now when it's hot. A lot of energy & goodwill now floating around this town & need to push on.
Really feel like I couldn't be more content with life right now. Whilst we all have our ups and downs, you just never know what can be around the corner that can change everything for you. Always try be positive because there will always be brighter days. DOC X
Seeing Dundalk beat BATE 3-0 in Tallaght
Seeing a 10 man Dundalk come from behind to draw in Alkmaar
Seeing a dundalk team put it up to zenit both times just narrowly losing
Beating Maccabi Tel Aviv
Always faith & belief in these 👊
There is a light that Never goes out
1) scenes the night before the cup final to push the team on and let them know we were all behind them
2) scenes in town when the team bus arrived.
Last weekend was one that won't be forgotten

The services in this country need to change and NOW.
Disgraceful that many lives could of been saved if the right help had of been there.
Those at fault should be ashamed !!
#RIPHarry
Sticking my neck out here but think the abuse this fella is getting is a bit OTT.
The rise in LOI attendances has been helped a lot by promotion of Social media influences & football vloggers showcasing whats great about the league.
He's doing no harm leave him to it 🤷♂️⚽
Never known a league with so many ‘fans’ who want no one else to follow it, it really is a shame. The same lads who’ll give out when our players are sniped off League 2 relegation clubs. But sure look, I’ll continue to do my bit 🇮🇪
