@CreeCoder x++ is post increment. So the value doesn’t get updated immediately. That’s why “y” is still 3. If it was to be ++x (pre increment), “y” will be 4. So in post increment, y will be assigned the value of x before incrementing it (y)

Day 9: This project was tougher than I expected, but I pushed through and made it work. I didn’t persist the state, so you might lose your tasks on refresh. Still, it was a good learning experience. Check it out: #ProjectJourney

The project is almost ready! I refactored a lot of my code, redesigned the database for better efficiency, and improved how data is stored. I also designed the login/signup page, allowing users to log in with email and password or Google authentication. #100DaysOfCode #NextJs

So, I started tackling this project from @frontendmentor . Probably the hardest challenge, I’ve ever attempted, but we’ll see how it goes😌 And I’ll be using #NextJs , #TypeScript , #Tailwind and #MongoDB for database

Day 14: I added features like deleting links and saving them in LocalStorage, so they stay after a refresh. But the API I used is down, so you can’t shorten links anymore. I’ve rebuilt it with a new api. I’ll share it soon Check it out: #ProjectJourney

And I’m done with the project, it’s all looking good to me, but I’ll be testing the app for any bugs or errors. (Hopefully I don’t find any😂) Hopefully by tomorrow, I’ll drop the link for everyone to check it out. Btw kudos to @frontendmentor design team🫡

Today, I implemented the roadmap’s page and then I implemented editing and deleting of a comment or reply. And now, I guess I’m done with the project’s functionality. What’s left is to make it responsive and that shouldn’t be an issue😌
