The big difference that Lamine has over Mahrez is how long he maintains his strides and explosiveness. Lamine currently sustains his power much longer, making him a better ball carrier and a more powerful runner inside, which is impressive considering Mahrez was already powerful.

One of the things Lamine should focus on is using his right foot. This isn't the first time he tried using his left when a pass would have been much easier with his right. Using his left caused the ball to come in at a weird angle for Lewa. It would make his game more effective.

Lamine's biggest problem when it comes to scoring is not his ball-striking. It's his shot release. He's far too slow in getting his shots off. When he does manage to shoot quickly, he is unable to put much power on it or the angles he can open up are very limited.

How many attacks has De Jong stopped? e.g That interception to stop a Jude goal, the pressure he puts stopped many attacks if only people could actually see it, stopped more then Christensen He got injured by sprinting a long distance to get the ball yet people call him lazy.
