It sickens and angers me that the first text that I got from my friends and family after the election result, was to stay safe. Not be out too late, and to avoid travelling far alone. A genuine fear that I am not safe in my own home, and truth is I’m not.

The European Union ruling that hijabs or any religious wear CAN be banned at works places is ludicrous. Don’t let anyone tell you, ‘this isn’t about the hijab’, when the decision directly stems off it.

Student Unions are run by students, society’s have the freedom to invite and disinvite who over they want, whenever they want! That in itself is freedom of speech, get yourself together Oxford!

How have I just deeped, #LoveIsBlind is the most HALAAL way to find a partner! You technically don’t get to see your significant other until you are cuffed (basically Nikkah)! The west has been mocking arranged marriages for decades, but they just made a TV show on it!
