At this point Boise State, San Diego State, Memphis, and SMU need to get together and figure this out. Put together the best conference you can and be the fifth best conference by a long shot. Would be a killer basketball conference as well.

Boise State currently has the top Group of 5 class with 16 known commits. When the "silent commit" reveals himself, they will be comfortably in the top 50. I expect Boise State to go after a juco DB as well. A top 45 class is not out of the question.

Little known fact about me. I have my Master's in Sports Administration. I literally wrote my thesis on the BCS. I have taken classes and studied the history of college football. Nobody will ever replicate what Boise State is considering the location and market.

Source: Boise State is expected to hire Stacy Collins as special teams coordinator, linebackers coach and assistant HC. Collins spent the last 2 seasons as Penn State's special teams coordinator/outside LBs coach. He coached at Boise State in 2021 after a run at Utah State.

Boise now with the 3rd best recruiting class in the MW. They were 10th just a few weeks ago. The Broncos are first in terms of average by a fairly wide margin and still have one silent commit. To the rest of the MW, daddy is coming home.

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed with the offense and play calling. This offseason is huge for Avalos. The offensive staff needs to be better. We can’t settle on this OC hire. I’m not sure I wouldn’t make a few other changes either.
