I can't believe that I'm sharing this but here we are, God of War Ragnarök. It's such a massive title and to be a small part of it is such a huge honor for me. Congratulations to everyone who worked on it! You guys rules!

I was browsing through my harddrive and I found my first ever attempt at building character in 3D. I think it was from 2015.
And also I wanna say, seeing AI images standing in the same page as other artist's works on artstation made me sad.

I'm not sure if I'm gonna finish it tho. We'll see!

Despite the nitpicks that I have, overall I enjoyed the movie. And I love that they're exploring more about Wanda's grief.

Finished this sculpt yesterday. Suit is based on the design by John Staub. I made my own tweak to the design to fit my vision on how I wanted her to look. Let me know if you have any feedback, cheers!

Hi
#PortfolioDay
I'm a 3D character artist/digital sculptor. Currently a college student and working freelance on the side for Prime 1 Studio.
I love making different variety of characters from realistic to stylized! I occasionally make timelapses and tutorials in my channel.
Started another sculpt XD. Recently rewatched
#ChainsawMan
for the third time. My hand was so ithcing that I started sculpting Power. This is a problem, man! I have so many characters I want to sculpt! I need to at least finish one of them lmao. Let me know what you think so far!
This is probably one of my favorite shot from my
#TifaLockhart
project. I put my Tifa model in the game start menu. If you have played the game, you know where it is. I couldn't find the exact font but this is close enough.
More shots of this project:
Here are some cinematic shots I made for my
#TifaLockhart
project. I used screenshots from the game as the background images. Tried to match the lighting as best as I could. Not perfect but it was fun testing just to picture how my model would look if it's actually in the game.
Got to finish this sculpt of Artoria Pendragon, Saber class servant from Fate/Stay Night. One of my favorite character from the Fate series. Let me know what you think, thanks!

Just a quick sculpt from last night. Enough to refresh my brain a bit. Also trying to teach myself to stop at a certain point and move on. I have a bad habit of just tweaking everything forever lol.
I'm finally able to log back in to my account. I was locked out basically since my last tweet because of SMS 2FA problem.
Anyway. I started this sculpt of
#IzumiNase
from
#KyoukainoKanata
recently. Still a really rough pass. Let me know if you have any feedback so far, Cheers!
Hi everyone! First sculpt of 2024! Mei Mei from Jujutsu Kaisen. I absolutely love this anime! After finishing season 2 I was like I need to sculpt a fan art! XD so yeah! Let me know what you think, thanks!

Here's final render of the sculpt. Let me know what you think, thanks! Don't worry, the Mai one is also still coming.
This looks fun! so here's mine. QRT with how you did a character vs how they actually look.
It's not exactly a recent sculpt but I just want to show this. I'd love to do Kushina one day. Always fun to do a kind of like semi-realistic interpretation of anime characters.

Super excited for the anime adaptation I just had to draw her. I couldn't resist! So here's a drawing from last night. Let me know what you think, thanks!

These are another version with 2B's goggles and also the Zbrush screenshot of the sculpt. This was a really fun sculpt! And I just realized I have sculpted more A2 than 2B lol. I need to sculpt more 2B!

And yes.. I added that one hair that is always sticking out on her head 😂

sketch. My hand have been itching to sculpt Spidey since I watched No Way Home. It's a quick one so no in-depth details or anything but it feels good to just sketch an idea out.
And yes, you don't want to look the other views. Just focus on this front render okay! 😂
I'm a huge Final Fantasy 7 Remake fan. And I made a Tifa Lockhart fan art. It was a long project getting everything right, the outfit, the likeness, the hair all that stuff.
And someone out of nowhere just said that I'm stealing Square Enix's work. Dude. That hurts really bad.
#FairyTail

100% completed Insomniac's Spider-Man 2 awhile ago. I loved it! And I have to sculpt at least one of them, so here's my progress. Still refining the body. The suit design is still polypaint. It's the advanced suit 2.0 with a little nitpick from me XD

I'm very excited! Finally arrived, this 2B figure by Flare Studio. It's stunning! My camera is not doing any justice here but man I love this figure! The only downside is her face without the goggles, it could've been done better. But overall it's absolutely my holy grail figure!

I just want to tweet about this. For everyone that thinks that they will never be able to be as good as these "AI art" I just want you to know I will always love and prefer your artworks. Because they have hearts, love, and hard work. I'm saying this to myself too. Don't give up!

from Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari. Still in progress and I don't have much time to work on it but let me know what you think so far, thanks!
I know Prime 1 Studio statues are official licensed. But to see the creator of the manga
#FairyTail
himself, Mashima Hiro right there with the statue that we worked on and talking about it is still one of the best things that happened to me. As a fan of the series it means a lot.
Damn, here I thought getting asked to do a character for 10 dollars is really bad. Something worse, someone randomly emailed me, asking to do their school homework. Some people really see us this low huh?
Late night quick sketch from last night. So I recently finished watching Violet Evergarden. Duuuude it was sooo good! The animation, story, character design, music, everything! I need to punish myself that I didn't put this in my radar earlier.
#VioletEvergarden
I'm currently uploading the cloth sculpting by hand tutorial video. It's a 4 and a half hour video with me talking for about 2 and a half hour (mostly rambling, I really did run out of stuff to talk about lol) 😂😂 So yeah. I'll post more about it once it's finished uploading.
I just did my graduation ceremony like a few hours ago. I'm finally free of college! Yeay! I met my best friends there. And that's actually the most important thing I got from college. They've helped me through a lot of tough times. You all rules!

With that whole Corridor Digital making anime with AI thing. Dude, I just.. I understand that "maybe" they're just trying to speed up the workflow or something, but there's a point where you try you make art so quick and easy that it loses the point of actually making art.

Something that I haven't talked about a lot is that I'm currently hopefully in my final year in college. And I'm making my final project here. And believe it or not it's not 3D stuff but I'm making an anime short film. Got help with my friends too. I'm pretty excited for it!

drawing. Been learning drawing anime recently. Trying to get that anime feeling right. I did the outline sketch a while ago when I was reviewing XP Pen Artist 12 PD and decided to finish the piece. Let me know what you think, thanks!
I think Artstation should be a safe place for artists to appreciate each other's hard work. And for people/studios that wanted to hire artists that can actually do the work.
Someone said to me.
He thinks that character creation nowadays is easy & quick you can just use software like Character Creator and just tweak a bit.
I mean that's not a wrong statement but do you really want to do that for your portfolio? Just a bunch of generated characters?
I feel weird sometimes when I'm in this like family reunion kinda thing. And they asked me about what I do and then I tried to explain it but I can clearly see that they're not interested at all about my work, all they care about is just how much I make from it.
It's a fan art. I made it because I love the game so much and I wanted to show my love for it. And I don't even make money out of it. It's just a portfolio piece. Am I not allowed to do that?
The cloth sculpting tutorial probably would take me longer to make. I just want to say sorry for that. I haven't talked about this publicly but I stopped freelancing a while ago to focus working on my college final project & thesis. It's been really stressful these past few days.
IDK if you noticed this. But a lot of anime figurines, the clothes are sculpted by hand. I used to think why don't they use MD.. But the more I grew up I appreciate it more that they don't use MD. Especially with the whole AI thing made me appreciate handcrafted stuff more.
I'm currently editing the cloth sculpting by hand tutorial video. And it's about 4 hours length. And even then it has a lot of part that got sped up. I don't want to waste people's time but at the same time I want to show everything.
I'm 23, well almost 24. But damn! I feel like a boomer seeing these kids on TikTok man. I can't understand what they're trying to do. Is all that for attention? Like.. they're so cringe, man. Pretty sure there are good content there but IDK, I just want to tweet about it.
It's crazy how much Blender's cycles render has been optimized. My current personal project only took me 8 minutes to render at 600% of 1080x1080. Just for reminder, it took me almost an hour to render this scale of project back in the day.
About my last tweet. I didn't think something that was sculpted in like 3 hours in the middle of the night could get that much attention lol. Actually kind of afraid posting stuff like that cause I didn't polish it, proportion could be better and lots of things could be improved.
Yup, I still play this game. Doesn't matter how much I saw the fight animation in this game, it's still absolutely beautiful. It's like dancing.. literally..
#NieRAutomata
My final college project is a more or less 7 minute anime short film. And it's gonna be animated in Blender's Grease Pencil. In fact, some cuts are already finished. It's an experimental project for me. But as I said before, I'm actually really excited for it.

drawing XD, a quick drawing from last night. I just needed to get it out of my system.
The "nanotech" mask in the MCU needs to end. It feels cheap. They can just put on and remove the masks just like that. There are no cool suit up scenes anymore. I believe actors can act with their mask on. You don't need to remove the mask every second they're about to talk lol.
So... I started a new project XD. I lost count of how many personal projects I started and then just going nowhere lol. I drew this
#2B
#NieRAutomata
statue concept that I want to work on. Just a quick one to get an idea out and then I'm gonna move to sculpting immediately.
Another statue we worked on at Prime 1 Studio. It was incredible to work on such a classic title like

I'm making a new series on YouTube where I will be talking about stuff I have learned about anatomy for artists, specifically modellers. Thinking the title will be like "Stuff I've Learned About Anatomy Part 1" or "Anatomy Quick Tips Episode 1" or you guys have any suggestions?
Here's evil me talking. One of the reasons I make videos on YouTube documenting my works is for whenever someone asks me questions about art stuff I can just send them a link to my video and it would immediately end the conversation. I know it sounds really evil but.. anyway..
More or less 2 years I've been working for a collectibles company and actually never bought one myself. But I recently bought a few figures from my favorite anime series. They're pretty cool! Just to kind of have something to glance on every once in a while when working.
I just watched a video by Proko called What AI Developers Want Artists to Know About AI. I know some artists have been telling us to not be scared. But I'm gonna be completely honest here. It is one of the scariest conversation I've listened to in a long while.
I had a family member came over and she said she's working in this investment agency thing, I don't really know the details. But she knows that I make artworks. Upon a little chit chat she asked..
"Oh you do NFTs right?"
*Exhales
The pain..
I'm probably one of the most inconsistent artist out there. Way back I used to focus on stylized characters like Disney stuff, and then to hyper realistic characters, and then to the Final Fantasy style characters and then anime stuff. I've done a lot of different style lol 😂
Social media, please stop showing me "suggestion posts" all I care about are people that I follow. If I want something new I can look it up myself. Example Instagram is really annoying because it only allows you to snooze for 30 days. There's no way to stop it permanently lol.
I always feel weird when artists make videos and they call themselves pro artists in the title. Like, you gotta be very confident in your work to make that kind of video title. I feel like it should be other people that are calling you pro. IDK, it's late and I'm rambling again.
I've answered this before. But some people still asking me, do you have to be able to draw to become a 3D artist?
IMO no, you don't have to. BUT, the lesson that you get by learning it are too great to be missed out.
Currently going through Steins Gate. Now this is a more interesting time travel stuff in my opinion. The last one I watched about time travel stuff was Tokyo Revengers but I didn't like it that much. Steins Gate tho, I'm really enjoying it so far.
Today, I will post something that I have been working on for the last 2 years more or less. Well, not exactly 2 years because I worked on it for like a week and then left for months and then worked on it again and then left again and so on and so on 🤣
#TifaLockhart
I'll say this. The moment movies or games are made with the majority of input by AI, that's right there is where I can finally stop watching and playing new stuff and just enjoy old masterpieces. I really hope that doesn't happen.
