Miss Jones’ 71A Humanities students researched the age of the earth last half term, looking at geologists and geological time periods. Students were asked to compete, making an ‘Age of Creation’ poster. Students worked incredibly hard and there were 10 winners. Well done to all.

Last week some of our year 9 pupils were given the chance to take part in the #PhoenixProject , an initiative run by @NorthWalesFire for 13-17 year olds. The students engaged in fire services activities as well as learning skills such as first aid. What a fantastic opportunity!

We have had some visitors in the Nurture garden over the past few days. Great Crested Newts are a protected species, so we will be making sure we look after the garden and not disturb them or their habitat.
