Great editing doesn't mean OVEREDITING. Documentaries are well-edited (+animations) and it takes ages to make them. However, they're not overedited, it enhances the viewer's experience. TLDR; quality > quantity for animations and vfx

STOP making everyone's video look like a "guru" video! Brand = association. If you use all the same assets that most "guru's" use. Your client's brand will be associated with that. If they want that, then good. Most likely not, so use different assets personal to the creator.
