Apologies if anyone with an iPhone Pro 14 is seeing blank purple maps. This is a bug in iOS 16. I have submitted a new version with a workaround to Apple, so hopefully that will be accepted soon. To any developers seeing purple screens on SceneKit: don't enable multisampling!

Apologies if anyone with an iPhone 6 Plus and AW4 is having trouble installing the watch app. There is a bug in iOS 12.1 / watchOS 5.1.1 which means that many apps cannot be installed, including WorkOutDoors (& Spotify, NRC, Shazam, PCalc etc). Hopefully Apple will fix it soon!

@stroughtonsmith Apple could allow users to tell watchOS when they are diagnosed with the virus. Then the watch would send Apple all recent sensor readings (heart, ECG, etc). Apple could then try machine learning to spot patterns & warn other users not yet showing symptoms that they may have it.

@rafazvillagran The app doesn't currently support the always on display. I am working on that now but it will take a few months. It requires Apple's latest coding language (called SwiftUI). This appeared long after WorkOutDoors was written, so I need to rewrite large parts of the app in SwiftUI.

@GR4M4Z Yes the app works standalone. With most models of the watch if you want maximum battery life then it is best to keep the phone on to supply GPS. However I guess it is possible that the Ultra battery could then outlast the phone battery in some cases. We shall see.

@JET86858140 You can see totals by tapping the circle with lines inside at the top right of the Workouts tab in the iPhone app. Then Filter by Running and Group by Month. I hope that helps. Glad you like the app!

@drogosmacska It sounds like you have panned the map away from your current location. Tap the tracking icon in the bottom left of the map to make it move with your location again. I hope that helps. Glad you like the app!

@1ucio I will probably add the new metrics at some time but there are higher priorities at the moment. Sorry about that. Glad you like the app!

@ChrisJohn23 There is no option to automatically start when you start moving but you can get a big green start button by tapping the 3 dots next to the activity and then tapping Open Workout. I hope that helps.
