This is a very accurate picture of how I feel when my code works. Or when I beep my badge at the gate. Or when we launch something. Or when there's chicken tenders at lunch.

Once upon a time I was a SAHM, who played WoW for an escape from my life. It's unreal to hear the cheers and see everyone's excitement as someone who works on the WoW team. I never would have dreamed this, and it's wonderful.

I've gotten my collectors editions signed by devs when I was just a player, and to be on the other side of the table today signing as a dev, was absolutely amazing and something I will never forget.

Two years down, two hundred more to go. Every day working here is an absolute dream come true - from what I do, the people I work with, and the game I make.

Today is exactly one year since I RTO'd for the first time. I still can't believe I can beep through any door I want (so far).

A year ago today I got my offer letter from Blizzard. I took my kids to Knotts to celebrate and got the call and official letter while I was there. I had to sit on a bench because I was so shocked.
9 years ago today I toured Blizzard as a big WoW fan. I thought it seemed like an amazing place to work but I was just a SAHM at the time. I got my degree in CS and now here I am. Still a bit unbelievable to me.

I've been MIA around here. Life has been busy and I am now gallbladder- free. I spent this weekend reading and playing some BG3 while letting my body heal up.
The left is 2018, the right 2022. I must have started and given up on losing weight and going to the gym a million times between the two. It's amazing what following science and not fads can do (and accountability buddies who are very honest).
Today is my birthday. Last year was absolutely amazing, getting to do a job I love, launching Dragonflight, hitting gym goals, and buying my dream car. Now to make this year even more spectacular!
A year's worth of gym progress. Above all, I challenge myself to show up consistently, no matter how much weight I lift (or fail to), how much the scale says I weigh, or how tired I think I am.
My daughter asked me why were their red people and blue people and what did it mean. After explaining the Horde and the Alliance, it turns out she was asking about political parties. Woops.
It's been 2 years since I got my degree. It was extremely hard to do, a pandemic, homeschooling 4 kids & graduating two of them. Went to my dream college even though I was told I couldn't do that.
Woke up at 2am to go to a rocket launch that was scrubbed. I hope my daughter has good memories of road trips like this, McDonald's at 3 am, and singing the periodic table of elements song.
